ORDER
S.O. 522(E).—In exercise of the powers con- ferred by section 18G and section 25 of the In- dustries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government here- by makes the following order further to amend the Cement Control Order, 1967. namely ;— -
1. (i) This Order may be called the Cement Control (Second Amendment) Order, 1984.
(ii) It shall come into force with immediate
effect.
2. In the Cement Control Order, 1967,—
(i) in clause 2(d), for the figures "66.6" the
figures "65" shall be substituted;
(ii) in clause 8, lor entries (a) to (e), the following shall be substituted, name- ly :_
"(a) Water proof (hydrophobic) cement at
Rs. 564.00 per metric tonne.
(b) rapid hardening cement and low heat cement at Rs. 555.00 per metric tonne.
(c) high strength ordinary portland cement
conforming to IS Specification No. 1S-8112-1976 at Ra. 555.00. per metric tonne.
(d) ordinary portland cement and port- land slag cement at Rs. 532 per metric tonne.
(e) Portland pozzolana cement and maso- nry cement at Rs. 517 per metric tonne."
(iii) in the Schedule, under the heading "Ex- factory price per metric tohne (in rupees)",—
(a) in item (i), for the letters and figures "Rs. 335.00" the letters and figures "Rs. 375.00" shall be substituted;
(b) in item (ii), for the letters and figures "Rs. 320.00" the letters and figures "Rs. 360.00" shall be substituted.
