New Delhi, the 19th July, 1984G.S.R. 520(E).-—In exercise of the powers con- ferred by clause (a) of section 8 of the Conserva- tion of Foreign Exchange and Prevention of Smuggling Activities Act, 1974 (52 of 1974), the 516 GI/84 (1)

Central Government hcrt-by constitutes an Advi- sory Board, consisting of :—

CHAIRMAN

1. Hon'ble Mr. Justice A. P. Ravani, Judge of the Gujarat High Court.

MEMBERS

2. Hon'ble Mr. Justice D. P. Desai, Retired Judge of the Gujarat High Court.

3. Hon'ble Mr. Justice C. V. Rane, Retired Judge of the Gujarat High Court.

2. The Advisory Boaid shall be in addition to the Advisory Board constituted vide Notification No. GSR-212(E), dated the l l th March, 1984 and deal with all cases of detentions sponsored by the Collector of Customs (Preventive), Ahmeda- bad.

3. The term of the Advisory Board shall be upto the 18th July, 1985 from the date of the notification.

G.S.R. 521(£).—Tn exercise of the powers conferred by sub-seclion (1) of section 9 of the Conservation of Foreign Excbiit^i and Prevention of Smuggling Activities Act, 1974 (52 of 1974), as amended by ths Conservation of Foreign Ex- change and Prevention of Smuggling Activities (Amendment) Ordinance, 1984 (No. 8 of 1984), the Central Government hereby specially empo- wers Shri M. V. N, Rao, Additional Secretary to the Government of India, for the purposes of the said section.

G.S.R. 522(E).—In exercise of the powers con- ferred by sub-section (1) of section 9 of the Con- servation of Foreign Exchange and Prevention of aihi'lng Activities Act, 1974 (52 of 1974), as amended by the Conservation of Foreign Exchange and Prevention of Smuggling Activities (Amend- ment) Ordinance, 19JS4 (No. 8 of 1984), the Central Government hereby specially empowers Shri K. S. Dilipsinhji, Additional Secretary to the Govern- ment of India, for the purposes of the sa;d section.
