G.S.R. 527(E):—Whereas the Central Government is of the opinion that offences of the nature specified in the Schedule to the Terrorist Affected Areas (Special Courts) Ordinance, 1984 (9 of 1984) are being committed in the State of Punjab by terrorists on such scale and in such manner that it is expedient for the purpose of coping with the activities of such terrorists to have recourse to the provisions of the said Ordinance, th§ Central Government in exercise of the powers conferred en it .by clauses (a) and (b) of sub-section (1) of section 3 of the said Ordinance hereby declares the whole of the State of Purjeb to be a terrorist affected area for the purposes of the said Ordinance and constitutes that area into following judicial zones, namely:—
(1) Judicial Zone, —Comprising the Revenue Districts Jalandhar of Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur, Kapur-
thala, Amritsar and Gurdaspur.
(3) Judicial Zone, -Comprising the Re\enue D;"tnci> Ferozepur of Ferozermr, Bhatinc*^ trc* Tnklct.
