ORDER
New Delhi, the 27th July, 1984
S.O. 533 (E).—In exercise of the powers con- ferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955), the Central Government hereby makes the following Order farther to amend the Paper (Regulation of Production) Order, 1978, namely :—
1.(1) This Order may be called the Paper (Re- gulation of Production) Amendment Order, 1984.
(2) It shall come into force at once.
2. In the Paper Regulation of Production) Order, 1978, in clause 10,—
"(a) manufacturers whose installed capa- city for the manufacture of paper and paper board is not more than 24,000 tonnes per annum and also not having a plant attached thereto for making bamboo or wood pulp."
(ii) after sub-clause (a), the following Ex- planation shall inserted, namely :-—
"Explanation.—
For the purposes of this clause, the ins- talled capacity may be determined having regard to the total quantity of clearances of all varieties of paper and paper boards in the pre- ceding'financial year, by or on be- half of a manufacturer from one or more factories".
