S.O. 566 (E) :— The following order made by the President
is published for general informition :—
THE DELIMITATION OF COUNCIL CONSTITUENCIES
(BIHAR) AMENDMENT ORDER, 1984
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 12 of the Representation of the People Act, 1950 (43 of 1950), the President, after consulting the Election Commission, is pleased to mike the following Order further to annnd the Delimitation of Council Constituencies (Bihar) Order, 1951, namely :—
1. This Order may be called the Delimitation of Council
Constituencies (Bihar) Amendment Order, 1984.
% In the Delim'tation of Council Constituencies (Bihar)
Order, 1951, In the Table—
"7. Bhagalpur cum flbagiipur, Godda, Sahebganj, North, Chota Nagpur Daoghar, Dumta, Monghyr, Giridih, Dhinbad and Hazan- bagh districts. 1
8. South Chota Nagpur Palamau, Ranchi, Lohardaga, GumlaandStnghbhum districts

(A) under the heading "Teachors' Constituencies", for the entries relating to items 7 and 8, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:—
"7. Bhagafpur cam Bhagalptir, Oodda, Saheb- North Chota Nagpur ganj, Deoghar, Dumka, Monghyr, Giridih, Dhanbad and Haziribagh districts 1
8, Smith Chota Nagpur Palamau, Ranchi, Lohar- daga, Gumla and Singh- bhum districts 1";
(c) underthe heading "Local Authorities' Constituencies",—
(0 for tho entry relating to item 25, the following entry
shall be substituted, namely :—
"25. Santhal • Godda, Sahebganj, Deoghar
Parganas and Dumka districts 2";
(tf) for the entry relating to item 28, the following entry
shall be substituted, namely :—
"28. Ranchi Ranchi, Lohardaga and
Gumla districts 2";
3. Any reference in this Order to a district shall be construed as k reference to the area comprised within that district on the 1st day of June, 1983.
