S.O. 583(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause 9 of the Nationalised Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970, as amended vide Government Noti- fication No. F. 4(3|82-BO. 1(1), dated March 1, 1984, the Cen- tral Government is pleased to decide that Shri S. Kanniappan, Associate Lecturer (Ceramic), Government College of Arts and Craft;., Madras shall cease to hold the office of director on the Board of Directors of India Overseas Bank with immediate effect.
