GSR 5S9(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of section 2 of the Central Excises and Salt Acl, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby invests Director, Anti-Evasion (Customs and Central Excise^ in the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, New Delhi, with the powers of a Collector -of Central Excise, to be exercised by him throughout the territory of India.
