GSR 607(E).~In exercise of the powers conferred, by sub- section ( i) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is neces- sary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 47|84- Customs, dated the 1st March, 1984, namely;—

In the said notification, in the opening paragraph, (a) for the words ad figures "under Heading No. 84. 19" the words and figures 'within Chapter 84" shall be substituted;

(b) the words "and designed for use in packagings of good

articles¹' "hall be omitted.
