PRELIMINARY NOTIFICATION

No.3/99/LND-ACQ/2020-21/4735 Date: - 01/11/2022.

Whereas, it appears to the appropriate Government that a total of 300.00 Sq.Mtrs. land is required in the Village Bhimpore, Nani Daman, Daman District for public purpose, namely, Acquisition of Land for Widening of Road at Village Bhimpore, Nani Daman.

2. Therefore, It is notified that for the above said project in the Nani Daman of Daman District, a piece of land measuring, of 300.00 Sq.Mtrs. of standard measurement, the details of the land acquisition as per the Annexure – I is enclosed herewith.

3. This Notification is made under the provisions of Section-11(1) of the Right to Fair Compensation and transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (30 of 2013), to all whom it may concern.

4. A plan of the land may be inspected in the Office of the Collector, Dholar, Moti Daman and Executive Engineer, PWD, Work Division No.1, Moti Daman (Requiring Body) during the working day and working hours.

5. The Government is pleased to authorize Mamlatdar, Daman and his Talathi to enter upon and survey land, take levels of any land, dig or bore into the sub-soil and do all other acts required for the proper execution of their work as provided and specified in Section-12 of the said Act.

6. Under Section-11(4) of the Act, no person shall make any transaction or cause any transaction of land i.e. sale / purchase, etc. or create any encumbrances on such land from the date of publication without prior approval of the Collector.

7. Objections to the acquisition, if any, may be filed by the person interested within 60 (Sixty Days) from the date of publication of this notification as provided under Section-15 of the Act before Collector.

Sub: Declaration of the Popular Front of India (PFI) and its associates or affiliates or fronts

as unlawful association under section 3 (1) of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act,

1967 – delegation of powers conferred under Section 7 and 8 of the Act.

O R D E R

Whereas, the Central Government in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 (1) of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 (37 of 1967), has declared the Popular Front of India and its associates or affiliates or fronts including Rehab Indian Foundation (RIF), Campus Front of India (CFI), All India Imams Council (AIIC), National Confederation of Human Rights Organization (NCHRO), National Women's Front, Junior Front, Empower India Foundation and Rehab Foundation, Kerela as unlawful association vide Notification Number S.O. 4559(E) dated 27/09/2022.

And Whereas, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 42 of the aforesaid Act has directed all the powers which are exercisable by it under Section 7 and Section 8 of the said Act shall be exercised also by the State Government and the Union Territory Administration vide Notification No. S.O. 4560(E) dated 28/09/2022.

And whereas, the Central Government has conveyed approval that the State Government and Union Territory Administration may, by order in writing, direct that any power which has been directed to be exercised by it, shall, in such circumstances and under such conditions, as may be specified in the direction, be exercised by any person, subordinate to the State Government and Union Territory Administration vide Order No. 14017/4/2022-NI-MFO dated 28/09/2022.

And whereas, the Central Government has directed all State Government and Union Territory Administration to take further necessary action in the matter vide letter No. 14017/4/2022- NI-MFO dated 28/09/2022.

And whereas, the Administration of the Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu has considered the matter in detail based on the notifications, order and letter from the Central Government referred in the preamble above.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 42 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967, the Hon'ble Administrator, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu hereby orders that the powers which have been directed to be exercised by the UT Administration under Section 7 and 8, respectively, of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967, stands delegated to the District Magistrate / Superintendent of Police of the respective districts of the UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu within their jurisdiction.

Notice of publication of Electoral Roll in Draft

To

The Electors of the 1- Daman & Diu Parliamentary Constituency.

Notice is hereby given that the electoral roll has been prepared in accordance with the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960, and a copy thereof is available for inspection at my office, AERO Office and all the polling stations during office hours.

The qualifying date for the preparation of the Electoral Roll is 01.01.2023.

If, with reference to the above said qualifying date, there be any claim for the inclusion of a name in the roll or any objection to the inclusion of name or any objection to particulars in any entry, it should be lodged on or before 08/12/2022 in Form 6, 6A, 7, 8 as may be appropriate.

An eligible citizens, who is going to attain the age of eighteen years on any of the subsequent qualifying dates in the year 2023, that is to say, the 1st April, 2023, the 1st July, 2023 or the 1st October, 2023, may also file his or her claim for inclusion of his or her name in the roll, in Form 6 in advance, starting from the date of notice, and the same shall be considered in the respective quarter of the year with reference to the respective qualifying date."

Every such claim or objection should either be presented in my office or to the BLOs or sent by post to the address given below so as to reach me not later than the aforesaid date.
