O R D E R

Whereas, the General Elections of Gram Panchayats in the UT of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu were held on 05/11/2025, and the Election Commission for UTs has published the results of General Elections of all Wards of Gram Panchayats (including Sarpanches) (except Gram Panchayats, Maharani Laxmibai, Vanakbara, Maharana Pratap, Saudwadi, Shaheed Bhagat Singh and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in Diu District) and District Panchayats in Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu vide Notification No. 7-2/EC/DNHⅅ/2025 dated 11/11/2025.

Now, therefore, the Administrator of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu in terms of Section 20 (1) of the Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu Panchayat Regulation, 2020, read with the Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu (Adaptation of State Rules and Presidential Regulations) Order, 2020, dated 08/10/2020 has fixed 21st November, 2025 and time as specified in table below as the date and time when the first Meeting of Gram Panchayats be convened for taking Oath of Office by each of the Sarpanch and Ward Member in each Gram Panchayats of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, before the Officers specified, District wise, as under:

The Oath of Office shall be taken by each Sarpanch and Ward Member before the Officers as specified above, in the form set out in the First Schedule of the Regulation. A copy of the same is enclosed.

Gram Panchayat/District Panchayat do swear in the name of God / Solemnly affirm that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of India as by law established, and that I will up hold the sovereignty and integrity of India and that I will faithfully and conscientiously discharge the duties of my office to the best of my ability, knowledge and judgement without fear or favour of ill-will.

Now, therefore, the Administrator of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu in terms of Section 60 (1) of the Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu Panchayat Regulation, 2020, read with the Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu (Adaptation of State Rules and Presidential Regulations) Order, 2020, dated 08/10/2020 has fixed 21st November, 2025 as the date and time as specified in table below, when the first Meeting of District Panchayats be convened for taking Oath of Office by each Members of District Panchayats of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, before the Secretary (PRI), UT of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu;

The Oath of Office shall be taken by each Member of District Panchayats before the Secretary (PRI), in the form set out in the First Schedule of the Regulation. A copy of the same is enclosed.

The Oath of Office for the Members of District Panchayat, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Diu shall be administered before the Secretary (PRI), DNH & DD through a VC mode.
