O R D E R
Whereas, the General Election to Rural Local Bodies viz Gram Panchayats and District Panchayats of the UT of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu have been completed on 11.11.2025 and the Election Commission for UTs has published the results of General Election vide Notification No. 7-2/EC/DNHⅅ/2025 dated 11.11.2025; for Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.
Now therefore, as per the provision of Section 61 (1) & (2) of the Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu Panchayat Regulation, 2012, read with the Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu (Adaptation of State Rules and Presidential Regulations) Order, 2020 dated 08/10/2020, read along with Rule 16 of the Daman and Diu Election of Upa-Sarpanch of a Gram Panchayat and President and Vice President of District Panchayat Rules, 2013 and the Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu Election of Upa-Sarpanch of a Gram Panchayat and President and Vice President of District Panchayat Rules, 2014, the Secretary (PRI), Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu appoints the following officers as Presiding Officers and fix 01st of December, 2025 as the date when the meeting of the District Panchayat of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu Districts shall be called for the election of President and Vice-President of the respective District Panchayats:

The Presiding Officers, as appointed above shall issue notice for the election in the Form, as prescribed in the Daman and Diu Election of Upa-Sarpanch of a Gram Panchayat and President and Vice President of District Panchayat Rules, 2013 and the Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu Election of Upa-Sarpanch of a Gram Panchayat and President and Vice President of District Panchayat Rules, 2014 on 26.11.2025 itself and shall convene the meeting of the District Panchayat as per the provisions of the Regulation and procedure prescribed in the Rules, as mentioned above.
This issues with approval of Competent Authority.
