O R D E R
Whereas, the General elections to Rural Local Bodies viz. Gram Panchayats (except Gram Panchayats i.e. Maharani Laxmibai, Vanakbara, Maharana Pratap, Saudwadi, Shaheed Bhagat Singh and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in Diu District) and District Panchayats of the UT of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu have been completed on 11/11/2025 as per the provisions of the Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu Panchayat Regulation, 2012, and the Election Commission for UTs, New Delhi has published the names of the persons elected to the said Gram Panchayats and District 7-2/EC/DNHⅅ/2025, dated 11/11/2025 in the Extraordinary Official Gazette of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu
Now, therefore, as per provision of Sub Section (1) of Section 17 of the Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu Panchayat Regulation, 2012 r/w with Rule 5 of the Daman and Diu Election of Upa-Sarpanch of a Gram Panchayat and President and Vice President of District Panchayat Rules, 2013 and the Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu Election of Upa-Sarpanch of a Gram Panchayat and President and Vice President of District Panchayat Rules, 2014, the Administrator of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu appoints the following officers as Presiding Officers and fix 02nd of April, 2026 as the date when the meeting of the Gram Panchayats of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu Districts shall be called for the election of Upa-Sarpanch of the respective Gram Panchayats:

The Presiding Officers, as appointed above shall issue notice for the election in the Form, as prescribed in the Daman and Diu Election of Upa-Sarpanch of a Gram Panchayat and President andEXTRAORDINARY No. 19 THE GAZETTE OF DNH & DD Page 4 Vice President of District Panchayat Rules, 2013 and the Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu Election of Upa-Sarpanch of a Gram Panchayat and President and Vice President of District Panchayat Rules, 2014 immediately and shall convene the meeting of the Gram Panchayats as per the provisions of the Regulation and procedures prescribed in the Rules, as mentioned above.
