NOTIFICATION
In exercise of powers conferred under Section 45 of the Mental Health Care Act, 2017 read along with notification of GOI, S.O.1557 (E) vide F.No. U-11020/2/2022-UTL dated 1st April 2025, the Administrator, Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu is pleased to constitute the Union Territory Mental Health Authority as below: -

| Joint Secretary cum Director, Department of Social Welfare, DNH & DD. | Member-Ex-officio |

| Head of Department, Psychiatry Dept., NAMO Medical College, Silvassa | Member |
| Eminent Psychiatrist from the UT of DNH and DD, not in Government Service, to be nominated by the State Government | Member |
| One mental health professional as defined in item (iii) of clause (q) of sub-section (I) of section 2 having at-least 15 years of experience in the field to be nominated by the State Government | Member |

The Authority shall exercise all powers conferred to them vide the Mental Health Care Act, 2017.
