सं.फा. 16/1/2018/गृ0पु0-I/स्था0/5475-5477.—दिल्ली पुलिस अधिनियम, 1978 (1978 का नियम 34) की धारा 147 की उपधारा (1) और (2) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र दिल्ली के उपराज्यपाल, दिल्ली पुलिस (नियुक्ति एवं भर्ती) नियमावली, 1980 में आगे संशोधन करते हुए, निम्नलिखित नियम बनाते हैं, अर्थात :-
| 1. | संक्षिप्त शीर्षक एवं प्रारंभ (I) | य नियम दिल्ली पुलिस (नियुक्ति एवं भर्ती) नियमावली-2018 कहा जाये े गे। ं | |
| (II) | य दिल्ली राजपत्र में उनके प्रकाशन की तिथि से प्रभावी होंगे। े | ||
| 2. | नियम 7 में संशोधन | दिल्ली पुलिस में दिल्ली पुलिस (नियुक्ति एवं भर्ती) नियमावली-1980 (इसके पश्चात् उक्त नियम के रूप में संदर्भित) के नियम-7 उप-निरीक्षक (कार्यकारी) - पुरूष के पद से संबंधित, के कॉलम-7 में निम्न प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगाः- | |
| 7. | चिकित्सीय मापदंड | (i) | '' दृष्टि : न्यूनतम समीप की दृष्टि एन 6 (अच्छी ऑंख) व एन 9 (खराब ऑंख), दोनों ऑंखों की दूर की दृष्टि 6/6 (अच्छी ऑंख) तथा 6/9 (खराब ऑंख) बिना दोष सुधार अर्थात् चश्मे पहने अथवा दृष्टि तीक्षणता को सुधार के लिये किसी तरह की सर्जरी। दाये हाथ वाले व्यक्ति के लिए ं दायीं ऑंख अच्छी है तथा विलोमतः। |

| (ii) | उम्मीदवार के घुटने आपस में मिले नहीं होने चाहिए, पैर सपाट ना हो, स जी नसें (वैरिकोज वेन्स) या विकार न हो या ऑंखों में विकार (भेंगी ू ऑंखें) न हों तथा उच्च रंग दृष्टि होनी चाहिए। | ||
| (iii) | उम्मीदवार मानसिक व शारीरिक रूप से स्वस्थ हो जिससे अपने कर्तव्यों को कुशलता पूर्वक निर्वहन करने में किसी प्रकार की बाधा की सम्भावना न हो। | ||
| (iv) | शरीर के विभिन्न अंगो पर गोदना (टेटूज)ः- ं | ||
| (क) | विषय वस्तु - शरीर पर लिखा कोई धार्मिक नाम, चिह्न या आकार स्वीकृत होगा जैसाकि भारतीय सेना में पालन किया जाता है। | ||
| (ख) | स्थिति - ये गोदना (टेटूज) केवल तभी स्वीकृत होंगे जब ये पारंपरिक तौर पर अग्रबाहु में अंदरूनी रूप से हों परन्तु केवल बायीं अग्रबाहु में क्योंकि स ल्यूट करने के लिए दायें हाथ का प्रयोग किया जाता है। े | ||
| (ग) | आकार - शरीर के जिस अंग पर गोदना (टेटूज) बना है (कोहनी या हाथ) उसका आकार उस अंग से 1/4 से कम होना चाहिए।'' | ||
| 3 | नियम-9 में संशोधन | उक्त नियमो में नियम-9, सिपाही (कार्यकारी) पुरूष के पद से ं स बंधितः- ं (1) उप-नियम (V), | |
| (क) आयु में छूट : | (क) | (क) खण्ड (क) के स्थान पर निम्न खण्ड प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा, अर्थात्ः- ''18 से 25 वर्ष 1. निम्नलिखित के लिए पांच वर्ष तक शिथिलनीयः- (i) अनुसूचित जाति व अनुसूचित जनजाति के उम्मीदवारों के लिए। (ii) विशिष्ट योग्यता प्राप्त खिलाड़ी। 2. अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग के उम्मीदवारों के लिए आयु में 3 वर्ष की छूट। नोटः अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग के तहत छूट केवल उन जातियो के लिए अधिकृत ं है जो केन्द्रीय सूची तथा जो राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र दिल्ली सरकार द्वारा जारी की गई सूची में सूचीबद्ध हैं। 3 . भूतपूर्व सैनिक को इन नियमों के नियम-28 के अनुसार छूट मिलेगी।'' (ख) खण्ड (ङ) के स्थान पर निम्न खण्ड प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगाः- | |
| (ङ) शारीरिक मापदंड : (i) | "अच्छा स्वास्थ, दोष/अंग विकार/रोग से मुक्त हो। बैगर चश्मे दोनों ऑंखों की दृष्टि 6/12 हो। रंग-अंधता से मुक्त होना चाहिए तथा बिना दोष सुधार अर्थात चश्मे पहने बिना अथवा दृष्टि तीक्षणता को सुधार के लिये किसी तरह की सर्जरी । उम्मीदवार मानसिक व शारीरिक रूप से स्वस्थ हो जिससे अपने कर्तव्यों को कुशलता पूर्वक करने मे किसी प्रकार ं की बाधा की सम्भावना न हो। उपरोक्त शतो में किसी भी श्रेणी के अभ्यर्थी र् ं को कोई छूट नहीं दी जाएगी। | ||
| (ii) | शरीर के विभिन्न अंगो पर गोदना (टेटूज)ः- ं | ||
| (क) | विषय वस्तु - शरीर पर लिखा कोई धार्मिक नाम, चिन्ह या आकार स्वीकृत होगा जैसाकि भारतीय सेना में पालन किया जाता है। | ||
| (ख) | स्थिति - ये गोदना (टेटूज) केवल तभी स्वीकृत होंगे जब ये पारंपरिक तौर | ||
| पर अग्रबाहु में अंदरूनी रूप से हों परन्तु केवल बायीं अग्रबाहु में क्योंकि स ल्यूट करने के लिए दायें हाथ का प्रयोग किया जाता है। े | |||
| (ग) | आकार - शरीर के जिस अंग पर गोदना (टेटूज) बना है (कोहनी या हाथ) उसका आकार उस अंग से 1/4 से कम होना चाहिए। | ||
| 2. उप-नियम (vii) के स्थान पर निम्न उप-नियम प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगाः- | |||
| (vii) छूट : | "सेवारत/सेवानिवृत/मृतक पुलिस कर्मचारी व मल्टी टास्क स्टाफ के पुत्र/पुत्रियों को जो शारीरिक माप की सामान्य शर्तो जैसे कि आयु और ं शैक्षिक योग्यता की सामान्य शर्तों को पूरा ना करते हों उन्हें निम्नलिखित छूट दी जाएगीः- "कद तथा छाती में 5 सेमी. की छूट, शैक्षिक योग्यता मे एक कक्षा कम की ं छूट तथा ऊपरी आयु सीमा मे 4 वर्ष की छूट, जोकि सभी श्रेणी के लिए ं अधिकतम आयु सीमा 29 तक की होगी"। | ||
| 4. | नियम-10 में संशोधन | उक्त नियमो में, नियम-10 में, ं प्रधान-सिपाही (लिपिक) व सहायक उप-निरीक्षक (आशुलिपिक) से स बंधित; ं (i) खण्ड (6) के स्थान पर निम्न खण्ड प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगाः- | |
| 6. शारीरिक मापदंडः | "अच्छा स्वास्थ्य, दोष/अंग विकार/रोग से मुक्त हो। बैगर चश्मे अथवा चश्मे सहित दोनों ऑंखो की दृष्टि 6/12 हो।" ं ि दव्यांग व्यक्तियो (लोकोमोटर) के लिएः- अच्छा स्वास्थ्य। बगैर चश्मे ं अथवा चश्मे सहित दोनों ऑंखों की दृष्टि 6/12 हो। (लोकोमोटर) दिव्यांगता 40% और अधिक (एक पैर या दोनों पैर प्रभावित) मान्य होगी। ( ii) खण्ड (7) के स्थान पर निम्न खण्ड प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगाः- | ||
| 7. रिक्तियों में आरक्षण व अन्य पात्रता | "(i) अनुसूचित जाति, अनुसूचित जनजाति, अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग, दिव्यांग, भूतपूर्व सैनिक एवं महिला आदि को भारत सरकार द्वारा समय-समय पर जारी दिशा-निदेशों के अनुसार।" ( ii) दिव्यांग व्यक्तियों (लोकोमोटर) के लिए 3% रिक्तियां आरक्षित किया जायेगा। उनकी पद प्रकृति सिविलियन होगी और वे वर्दी नहीं पहनेंगे। | ||
| 5. | नियम-14 में संशोधन | उक्त नियमो में, नियम 14 का उप-नियम (3), ं (i) खण्ड (ए) में, उप-निरीक्षक (महिला) के पद से संबंधित, उप-खण्ड (5) के स्थान पर निम्न उप-खण्ड को प्रतिस्थापित किया जायेगाः- | |
| 5. चिकित्सीय मापदंडः | (i) | दृष्टि ः न्यूनतम समीप की दृष्टि एन 6 (अच्छी ऑंख) व एन 9 (खराब ऑंख), दोनों ऑंखों की दूर की दृष्टि 6/6 (अच्छी ऑंख) तथा 6/9 (खराब ऑंख) बिना दोष सुधार अर्थात् चश्मे पहने अथवा दृष्टि तीक्षणता को सुधार के लिये किसी तरह की सर्जरी। दायें हाथ वाले व्यक्ति के लिए दायीं ऑंख अच्छी है तथा विलोमतः। | |

| (ii) | खण्ड (सी) में, सिपाही (कार्यकारी) महिला के पद से संबंधित, उप-खण्ड (4) के स्थान पर निम्न उप-खण्ड प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगाः- | ||
| (4) शारीरिक मापदंडः | "अच्छा स्वास्थ, दोष/अंग विकार/रोग से मुक्त हो। बैगर चश्मे दोनों ऑंखों की दृष्टि 6/12 हो। रंग-अंधता से मुक्त होना चाहिए तथा बिना दोष सुधार अर्थात चश्मे पहने बिना अथवा दृष्टि तीक्षणता को सुधार के लिये किसी तरह की सर्जरी । उम्मीदवार मानसिक व शारीरिक रूप से स्वस्थ हो जिससे अपने कर्तव्यों को कुशलता पूर्वक करने में किसी प्रकार की बाधा की सम्भावना न हो। उपरोक्त शतो मे र् ं किसी भी श्रेणी के अभ्यर्थी ं को कोई छूट नहीं दी जाएगी। | ||

| 6. | नियम-17बी(XVIII) में संशोधन | उक्त नियमो में, नियम-17बी(XVIII), प्रधान-सिपाही (स्टोर क्लर्क) के ं पद से संबंधित, उप-नियम (4) में, | |
| (क) | खण्ड (ई) के अन्त में निम्न जोड़ा जाएगाः- "दिव्यांग व्यक्तियो (लोकोमोटर) के लिएः- अच्छा स्वास्थ्य। अच्छी ऑंखे ं ं 6/6 बिना चश्मे, कमजोर ऑंखें 6/36 चश्मे से ठीक की गई 6/9 तक या बिना चश्मे 6/12 (दोनो ऑंखें)। उम्मीदवार रंग-अंधता से मुक्त होना ं चाहिए। (लोकोमोटर) दिव्यांगता 40% और अधिक (एक पैर या दोनों पैर प्रभावित) मान्य होगी। | ||
| (ख) | विद्यमान नोट के स्थान पर निम्न को प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगाः- ''नोटः- ये नियम अनुसूचित जाति/अनुसूचित जनजाति, अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग, महिला, दिव्यांग व अन्य विशिष्ट श्रेणी को मिलने वाली छूट जोकि समय-समय पर सरकार द्वारा जारी की जाती है, को प्रभावित नहीं करेंगे।" ( ii) दिव्यांग व्यक्तियों (लोकोमोटर) के लिए 3% रिक्तियां आरक्षित किया जायेगा। उनकी पद प्रकृति सिविलियन होगी और वे वर्दी नहीं पहनेंगे। | ||
| 7. | परिशिष्ट-xxx में संशोधन | उक्त नियमों के साथ संलग्न परिशिष्ट xxx, दिल्ली पुलिस में अभ्यर्थियों की भर्ती हेतु चिकित्सा अधिकारी द्वारा ध्यान में रखे जाने वाले बिन्दुओं से स बंधित, खण्ड (क) में,- ं | |
| (1) | उप-नियम (i), "रंग-अंधता" शब्दों के पश्चात् निम्न शब्दों को सन्निविष्ट किया जाएगा, अर्थात् "और बिना दोष सुधार अर्थात चश्मे पहने बिना और दृष्टि तीक्षणता को सुधार के लिये किसी तरह की सर्जरी के बिना। उपरोक्त शर्त में किसी वर्ग को कोई भी छूट नहीं दी जाएगी।" | ||
| (2) | खण्ड (ट) के पश्चात् निम्न खण्ड को सन्निविष्ट किया जाएगाः- ''(I) "सिपाही से लेकर उप-निरीक्षक तक के कार्यकारी केडर के पदों की सीधी भर्ती हेतु शरीर के विभिन्न अंगों पर गोदना (टेटूज) की जॉंचः-" (1) शरीर के विभिन्न अंगो पर गोदना (टेटूज)ः- ं | ||
| (क) विषय वस्तु - शरीर पर लिखा कोई धार्मिक नाम, चिन्ह या आकार स्वीकृत होगा जैसाकि भारतीय सेना में पालन किया जाता है। ( ख) स्थिति - ये गोदना (टेटूज) केवल तभी स्वीकृत हो गे जब ये ं पारंपरिक तौर पर अग्रबाहु में अंदरूनी रूप से हों परन्तु केवल बायीं अग्रबाहु मे क्योंकि सेल्यूट करने के लिए दायें हाथ का प्रयोग किया जाता ं है। (ग) आकार - शरीर के जिस अंग पर गोदना (टेटूज) बना है (कोहनी या हाथ) उसका आकार उस अंग से 1/4 से कम होना चाहिए। | |||
| 8. | 27(क) में संशोधन | उक्त नियमों मे , नियम 27-क के लिए दिल्ली पुलिस में ग्रुप 'सी' व 'डी' ं के पदों पर सीधी भर्ती हेतु विभागीय अभ्यर्थियों के लिए ऊपरी आयु सीमा म छूट से संबंधित के स्थान पर निम्न को प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगाः- ं े | |
| 27-क-विभागीय अभ्यर्थियों के लिए ऊपरी आयु सीमा में छूट। | '' सभी विभागीय उम्मीदवारों को ग्रुप 'सी' के पदों (उप-निरीक्षक (कार्यकारी) - पुरूष एवं महिला के पदों को छोड़कर) की सीधी भर्ती के निमित्त जिन्होंने कम से कम तीन साल की नियमित सेवा पूरी कर ली हो, को अधिकतम आयु सीमा में छूट निम्न प्रकार होगीः- | ||
| "सामान्य वर्ग के लिए 40 वर्ष, अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग के लिए 43 वर्ष, अनुसूचित जाति व अनुसूचित जनजाति के लिए 45 वर्ष।" | |||
| उप-निरीक्षक (कार्यकारी) पुरूष/महिला के पदों की सीधी भर्ती हेतु विभागीय अभ्यर्थी जोकि दिल्ली पुलिस में कम से कम 3 वर्ष की नियमित स वा पूरी कर चुके हों, को ऊपरी आयु सीमा छूट निम्न प्रकार होगीः- े | |||
| "सामान्य वर्ग के लिए 30 वर्ष, अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग के लिए 33 वर्ष, अनुसूचित जाति व अनुसूचित जनजाति के लिए 35 वर्ष।" |

NOTIFICATION
Delhi, the 22nd October, 2018
No. F. 16/01/2018/HP-I/Estt. 5475-5477.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) and (2) of section 147 of the Delhi Police Act, 1978 (34 of 1978), the Lieutenant Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi is pleased to make the following rules further to amend the Delhi Police (Appointment and Recruitment) Rules, 1980, namely:
1. Short title and commencement:- (I) These rules may be called the Delhi Police(Appointment and
Recruitment) (Amendment) Rules, 2018.
(II) They shall come into force with effect from the date of
their publication in the Delhi Gazette.
2. Amendment of rule 7
In Delhi Police (Appointment and Recruitment) Rules, 1980, (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), in rule 7, relating to the post of Sub-Inspector(Exe.)-Male, for column 7, the following shall be substituted, namely:-
7. Medical Standard:
(i) Eye sight: The minimum near vision should be N6 (better eye) and N9 (worse eye). The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 (better eye) and 6/9 (worse eye) of both eyes without any correction like wearing glasses or surgery of any kind to improve visual acuity. In right6 DELHI GAZETTE : EXTRAORDINARY PART IV] handed person, the right eye is better eye and vice versa.
(ii) The candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should possess high colour vision.
(iii) They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
(iv) Tattoos on various parts of body:-
(a) Content - Tattoos depicting religious symbol or figure and the name, as followed in Indian Army, shall be permitted.
(b) Location – Tattoos marked on traditional sites of the body like inner aspect of forearm, but only left forearm, being non saluting limb or dorsum of the hands shall be allowed.
(c) Size – Size must be less than ¼ of the particular part
(Elbow or Hand) of the body."
3. Amendment of rule 9
In the said rules, in rule 9, relating to the post of Constable(Exe.)-Male:-
(1) In sub-rule(V),-
(a) Age limit :
(a) For clause (a), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:-
"18 to 25 years
1. Relaxable by five years for:-
(i) Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribe candidates.
(ii) Sportsmen of distinction.
2. Relaxable by three years for OBC candidates.
Note- The relaxation under OBC category is admissible for those castes notified in the Central list and the list issued by the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi.
3. Ex-Servicemen as per rule 28 of these rules."
(b) For clause (e), the following clause, shall be substituted, namely:-
(e) Physical Standard:
(i) Sound state of health, free from defect/deformity disease, vision 6/12 without glasses both eyes, free from colour blindness and without any correction like wearing glasses or surgery of any kind to improve visual acuity. Free from defect, deformity or disease likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties. No relaxation is allowed/permissible to any category of candidates on this count.
(ii) Tattoos on various parts of body:-
(a) Content - Tattoos depicting religious symbol or figure and the name, as followed in Indian Army, shall be permitted.

(2) For sub-rule(vii), the following sub-rule, shall be
substituted, namely:-
(vii) Relaxation:
"The sons/daughters of either serving, retired or deceased police personnel/Multi Tasking Staff of Delhi Police who do not fulfill the general conditions of physical standard, age and education qualifications, the following relaxations shall be given:-
Relaxation of maximum of 5 centimeters in Height and Chest measurements, one standard in educational qualification and four years in upper age limit, subject to maximum upper age limit of 29 years for all categories."
4. Amendment of rule 10
In the said rules, in rule 10, relating to the post of Head Constable(Ministerial) and Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer),-
(i) For clause (6), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:-
6. Physical standard:
"Sound state of health, free from defect, deformity or disease. Vision 6/12 with or without glasses both eyes.
For Persons with Disabilities:- Sound state of health, vision 6/12 with or without glasses both eyes. Locomotor disability 40% and above (Either one or both leg affected) shall be allowed."
(ii) For clause (7), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:-
7. Reservation of vacancies
and other requirements:
"(i) For Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Ex-Servicemen and Women etc. as per orders issued by Government of India from time to time.
(ii) For Persons with Disabilities(Locomoter), 3% of vacancies will be reserved. Their post will be civilian in nature and they will not wear uniform."
5. Amendment of rule 14
In the said rules, in rule 14, in sub-rule (3),-
(1) In clause (a), relating to the post of Sub-Inspector-(Women), for sub-clause (5), the following sub-clause shall be substituted, namely:-
5. Medical Standard:
(i) Eye sight: The minimum near vision should be N6 (better eye) and N9 (worse eye). The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 (better eye) and 6/9 (worse eye) of both eyes without any correction like wearing glasses or surgery of any kind to improve visual acuity. In right handed person, the right eye is better eye and vice versa.
(ii) The candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should possess high colour vision.
(iii) They must be in good mental and bodily health and free8 DELHI GAZETTE : EXTRAORDINARY PART IV] from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
(iv) Tattoos on various parts of body:-
(a) Content - Tattoos depicting religious symbol or figure and the name, as followed in Indian Army, shall be permitted.
(b) Location – Tattoos marked on traditional sites of the body like inner aspect of forearm, but only left forearm, being non saluting limb or dorsum of the hands shall be allowed.
(c) Size – Size must be less than ¼ of the particular part
(Elbow or Hand) of the body."
(2) In clause (c), relating to the post of Constable(Exe.) (Women), for sub-clause (4), the following sub-clause shall be substituted, namely:-
4. Physical standard:
"Sound state of health, free from defect/deformity disease, vision 6/12 without glasses both eyes, free from colour blindness and without any correction like wearing glasses or surgery of any kind to improve visual acuity.
Free from defect, deformity or disease likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties. No relaxation is allowed/permissible to any category of candidates on this count.
(i) Tattoos on various parts of body:-
(a) Content - Tattoos depicting religious symbol or figure and the name, as followed in Indian Army, shall be permitted.
(b) Location – Tattoos marked on traditional sites of the body like inner aspect of forearm, but only left forearm, being non saluting limb or dorsum of the hands shall be allowed.
(c) Size – Size must be less than ¼ of the particular part
(Elbow or Hand) of the body.
6. Amendment of rule 17-B(XVIII) In the said rules, in rule 17-B(XVIII), relating to the post of
Head Constable (Store Clerk), in sub-rule(4),-
(a) in the end of clause (e), the following shall be inserted, namely:-
"For Persons with Disabilities:- Sound state of health. Better eye 6/6 without glasses, worse eye 6/36 corrected with glasses to 6/9 or 6/12 without glasses(both eyes). The Candidates should be free from colour blindness. Locomotor disability 40% and above (Either one or both leg affected) shall be allowed."
(b) For the existing note, the following note shall be substituted, namely:-
"Note:- (i) Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation and other concessions required to be provided for Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Women and other special categories of persons in accordance with the[PART IV DELHI GAZETTE : EXTRAORDINARY 9 order issued by the Government from time to time.
(ii) For Persons with Disabilities (Locomoter), 3% of vacancies will be reserved. Their post will be civilian in nature and they will not wear uniform."
7. Amendment in Appendix
XXX
In APPENDIX XXX annexed to the said rules, relating to the points to be observed by Medical Officers in examining candidates for recruitment to the Delhi Police, in clause (a),-
(1) In sub-clause(i), after the words 'colour blindness', the
following words shall be inserted, namely:-
" and without any correction like wearing glasses or surgery of any kind to improve visual acuity. No relaxation is allowed to any category of candidates on this count."
(2) after clause (k), the following clause shall be inserted, namely:-
" (l) examination of tattoos on various parts of body for the post of direct recruitment of Executive cadre i.e. Constable to Sub- Inspector:-
(1)Tattoos on various parts of body:-
(a) Content- Tattoos depicting religious symbol or figure and the name, as followed in Indian Army, shall be permitted.
(b) Location- Tattoos marked on traditional sites of the body liker inner aspect of forearm, but only left forearm, being non saluting limb or dorsum of the hands shall be allowed.
(c) Size must be less than ¼ of the particular part (Elbow or Hand) of the body."
8. Amendment of rule 27-A
In the said rules, for rule 27-A, relating to the relaxation of upper age limit for departmental candidates for direct recruitment against Group 'C' and 'D' posts of Police Department, the following shall be substituted, namely:-
27-A- Relaxation of upper age
limit for departmental candidates
"(i)Relaxation of upper age limit for all departmental candidates for direct recruitment against group 'C' posts [except for the posts of Sub-Inspector(Executive)-Male and Female] who are enlisted in Delhi Police with a minimum of three years continuous service shall be as follows:-
40 years for general category candidates, 43 years for OBC category candidates and 45 years in cases of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes.
(ii) Relaxation of upper age limit for departmental candidates for direct recruitment of Sub-Inspector(Executive)-Male and Female who are enlisted in Delhi Police with a minimum of three years continuous service shall be as follows:-
30 years for general category candidates, 33 years for OBC category candidates and 35 years in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes."
