सं.सं.सं.सं. 294294294294/िनयम/डीएचसी/िनयम/डीएचसी/िनयम/डीएचसी/िनयम/डीएचसी....————भारत के माननीय सव(cid:14)(cid:15) न्यायालय की दिनांक 05.12.2018 की रिट याचिका (आपराधिक) सं. 156/2016 शीर्षक "महेंदर चावला एवं अन्य बनाम भारत संघ एवं अन्य" में पारित निर्णय के अनुपालन में "यौन अपराध एवं बाल गवाह सम्बंधित मामलों में कार्यवाही हेतु माननीय सव(cid:14)(cid:15) न्यायालय तथा माननीय दिल्ली उ(cid:15) न्यायालय द्वारा निर्धारित विभिन्न दिशानिद:शों के उचित ;ियान्वयन हेतु समिति" की सिफारिश पर माननीय मुख्य न्यायाधीश "सक्षम प्राधिकरण" अर्थात् गवाह सुरक्षा योजना, 2018 के अंतर्गत प्रत्येक जिले में जिला एवं सत्र न्यायाधीश की अध्यक्षता में तथा सम्बG उप-आयुक्त पुलिस एक सदस्य के रूप में तथा सम्बG मुख्य अभियोजक इसके सदस्य सचिव के रूप में, एक स्थायी समिति के गठन का निदेश सहर्ष देते हैं।

No. 294/Rules/DHC.—In compliance with the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India dated 05.12.2018 passed in Writ Petition (Criminal) No. 156 of 2016 titled "Mahender Chawla & Ors Vs. Union of India & Ors", on the recommendations of the "Committee to Monitor Proper Implementation of Several Guidelines laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court as well as the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi for Dealing with matters pertaining to Sexual Offences and Child Witnesses", Hon'ble the Chief Justice has been pleased to direct constitution of a "Competent Authority" i.e., Standing Committee in each District, under the Witness Protection Scheme, 2018, to be chaired by the District & Sessions Judge with concerned Deputy Commissioner of Police as a Member and concerned Chief Prosecutor as its Member Secretary.
