Qk-la- 36¼63½@leUo;@eaMyk;qDr@2019@1179.—जनगणना अधिनियम 1990 नियम 8 में प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, उपराज्यपाल राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र दिल्ली, भारत सरकार, गृह मंत्रालय, (भारत के महारजिस्ट्रार का कार्यालय) नई दिल्ली द्वारा प्रकाशित अधिसूचना दिनांक 26 मार्च 2019 को सहर्ष पुनः प्रकाशित करते हैं :-
''का.आ. 1455 (अ).- केन्द्रीय सरकार, (जनगणना अधिनियम, 1948 (1948 का 37) की धारा 3 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए घोषणा करती है कि भारत की जनसंख्या की जनगणना वर्ष 2021 के दौरान की जाएगी। जनगणना के लिए संदर्भ तारीख, जम्मू और कश्मीर राज्य तथा हिमाचल प्रदेश और उत्तराखंड राज्यों के हिमाच्छादित असमकालिक क्षेत्रों के सिवाय, मार्च, 2021 के पहले दिन के 00ः00 बजे होगी।
परन्तु यह कि जम्मू और कश्मीर राज्य तथा हिमाचल प्रदेश और उत्तराखंड राज्यों के हिमाच्छादित असमकालिक क्षेत्रों के लिए, संदर्भ तारीख अक्तूबर, 2020, के पहले दिन के 00ः00 बजे होगी।

NOTIFICATION
Delhi, the 29th July, 2019
F.No. 36 (63)/Coord./Div. Comm./2019/1179.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 8 of the Census Rules, 1990, the Lt. Governor of National Capital Territory of Delhi is pleased to publish the following notification of Govt. of India, Ministry of Home Affairs (Office of the Registrar General of India), New Delhi dated 26th March, 2019.
"S.O. 1455 (E)- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Census Act, 1948 (37 of 1948), the
Central Government hereby declares that a Census of the Population of India shall be taken during the year 2021. The
reference date for the census shall, except for the State of Jammu and Kashmir and snow bound non-synchronous areas
of States Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, be 00.00 hours of the first day of March, 2021.
Provided that for the State of Jammu and Kashmir and snow bound non-synchronous areas of Himachal
Pradesh and Uttarakhand, the reference date shall be 00.00 hours of the first day of October, 2020.
