,Q-la- 36¼84½@leUo;@eaMyk;qDr@2019@1213-—भारत सरकार, गृह मंत्रालय की अधिसूचना संख्या-2/1/60-Jud1.II दिनांक 20 अप्रैल, 1960 के साथ पठित जनगणना अधिनियम, 1948 (1948 का 37) की धारा 4 की उप-धारा (2) में प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, उपराज्यपाल, राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र, दिल्ली निम्नलिखित अनुसूची के कॉलम नं. 2 में दर्शाए गए अधिकारियों का कालम 3 में पदांकित जनगणना अधिकारियों के तौर पर तथा प्रत्येक के समक्ष कॉलम 4 में विनिर्दिष्ट क्षेत्रों में राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र दिल्ली में जनगणना 2021 के पूर्व परीक्षण (प्री-टेस्ट) के संचालन के पर्यवेक्षण हेतु सहर्ष जनगणना अधिकारी नियुक्त करते हैंः-

2. साथ ही, उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 4 की उप-धारा (4) के तहत शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, उपराज्यपाल, राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र, दिल्ली, पैराग्राफ 1 में नामित प्राधिकारियों को, सहर्ष उनके सम्बंधित अधिकार-क्षेत्रों में जनगणना अधिकारियों की नियुिक्त का अधिकार सौंपते हैं।
3. साथ ही, उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 4 की उप-धारा (3) के तहत शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, उपराज्यपाल, राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र, दिल्ली, पैराग्राफ 1 में नामित प्राधिकारियों को सहर्ष उनके सम्बंधित किसी अधिकार-क्षेत्र में किसी व्यक्ति को उनके द्वारा विधिवत रूप से जनगणना अधिकारी नियुक्त करने सम्बंधित लिखित घोषणा-पत्र पर हस्ताक्षर करने का अधिकार भी प्रदान करते हैं।

NOTIFICATION
Delhi, the 2nd August, 2019
F.No. 36 (84)/Coord./Div. Comm./2019/1213.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the sub-section (2) of section 4 of the Census Act 1948 (37 OF 1948) read with Govt. of India, Ministry of Home Affairs notification No. 2/1/60-Judl.II dated the 20th April, 1960, the Lieutenant Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi is pleased to appoint the authorities mentioned in column 2 of the Scheduled given below, as Census Officers as designated in column 3 and within the areas specified against each in column 4 of the said schedule to take, or aid in, or supervise the taking of, the Pre-Test of 2021 Census Operations in the National Capital Territory of Delhi:-

2. In exercise of the powers under sub-section (4) of the section 4 of the said Act, the Lieutenant Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi is further pleased to delegate to the authorities named in paragraph 1, the powers of appointing of Census Officer in respect of the areas within their respective jurisdictions.
3. In exercise of the powers under sub-section (3) of the section 4 of the said Act, the Lieutenant Governor is also pleased to authorize the authorities named in paragraph 1 to sign a declaration in writing that any person has been duly appointed a Census Officer by him any area under their respective jurisdictions.
