भारत निर्वाचन आयोग, लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1951 (1951 का 43) की धारा 22 की उप धारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए तथा समय-समय पर यथा संशोधित अपनी दिनांक 18 जून, 2008 की अधिसूचना संख्या 434/दि0-विे0 स0/2008(1) जो राष्ट्रीय राजधानी राज्य क्षेत्र, दिल्ली की विधान सभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों के रिटर्निंग अधिकारी की सहायता के लिए सहायक रिटर्निग अधिकारी की नियुक्ति से संबंधित है, में एतद्‌द्वारा निम्नांकित संशोधन करता है :-

2. उपरोक्त अधिसूचना के संलग्नित सारणी के स्तंभ(2) में, स्तंभ(1)में 34-मटियाला एवं 35-नजफगढ़ विधानसभा क्षेत्र से संबंधित मद के सामने विद्‌यमान प्रविष्टियों के बाद निम्नलिखित तत्स्थानी प्रविष्टियॉं क्रमशः जोड़ी जाएंगीः- 545 DG/2020 (1) 2 DELHI GAZETTE : EXTRAORDINARY PART II—I]

3. उपरोक्त के स्तम्भ (2) में उल्लेखित दोनों अधिकारी दिनांक 11 फरवरी, 2020 को निर्धारित विधानसभा के साधारण निर्वाचन, 2020 की मतगणना की प्रक्रिया की समाप्ति के तत्काल पश्चात सहायक रिटर्निंग अधिकारी के रूप में कार्य करना बंद कर देेंंगे।

Delhi, the 28th January 2020

No. 434/DL-LA/2020 (1).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (1) of Section 22 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the Election Commission of India hereby makes the following amendments in its Notification No. 434/DL-LA/2008 (1), dated 18th June, 2008, as amended from time to time, relating to the appointment of Assistant Returning Officers to assist the Returning Officer of the Assembly Constituency of NCT of Delhi, namely:

2. In column (2) of the table appended to the said notification, after existing entries in Column (1) in respect of 34-Matiala and 35-Najafgarh Assembly Constituencies, the following corresponding entries shall respectively be added:

3. Both the officers in Column (2) of the above table shall cease to function as Assistant Returning Officer immediately after the completion of process of Counting of Votes in the General Election to the Legislative Assembly of NCT of Delhi, 2020, scheduled on 11th February 2020.
