—मोटर वाहन अधिनियम, 1988 (1988 का 59) की धारा 2 के खंड (41) के साथ पठित धारा 200 की उपधारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए तथा अधिसूचना संख्या 19(95)/परिवहन/सचि./10/257 दिनांक 20 दिसम्बर, 2016 अधिक्रमण में राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र दिल्ली के उपराज्यपाल उक्त अधिनियम के अधीन किये गये तथा अनुसूची के समरूप कॉलम संख्या (3) में विनिर्दिष्ट राशि सहित कॉलम संख्या (2) में उल्लिखित धारा/धाराओं के अधीन दंडनीय यातायात अपराधों के समाधान के लिये नीचे दी गई अनुसूची के कॉलम संख्या (4) में यथा उल्लिखित अधिकारियों को प्राधिकृत करते हैंः-

2. मोटर वाहन अधिनियम, 1988 (जैसे संशोधित) की धारा 210ख के अनुपालन में, इस अधिनियम के प्रावधान को लागू करने का अधिकार प्राप्त कोई भी प्राधिकारी, इस अधिनियम के तहत अपराध करता है, तो उसकी संरचना के लिए उपरोक्त अनुसूची के कॉलम (3) में निर्दिष्ट राशि का दोगुना देय होगा। 3. प्राधिकृत अधिकृत अधिकारियों द्वारा समाधान की गई राशि परिवहन विभाग, राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र दिल्ली सरकार के ''मुख्य शीर्ष 0041, वाहनों पर कर, 101- आईएमवी (शुल्क एवं दंड)'', में जमा की जायेगी। 3. यह अधिसूचना सरकारी राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तिथि से प्रभावी होगी।

No. F. 19(95)/Tpt./Sectt./10/20110.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 200, read with clause (41) of section 2 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (59 of 1988) and in supersession of the notification No. 19(95)/Tpt/Sectt./10/257 dated the 20th December, 2016, the Lieutenant Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi is pleased to authorize the officers as mentioned in column No. (4) of the Schedule given below to compound traffic offences committed under the said Act and punishable under the section/sections mentioned in column No. (2), with the amount specified in the corresponding column No. (3) of the said Schedule, namely :—

2. In compliance of Section 210B of Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (as amended), any authority that is empowered to enforce the provision of this Act shall, if such authority commits an offence under this Act, shall be liable for twice the amount for composition as specified in column (3) of the above Schedule.
3. The amount compounded by the authorized officers shall be deposited in the "Major Head 0041, taxes on vehicles, 101-IMV (Fees & Fine)", of the Transport Department, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi.
4. This notification shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
