सं. 479/2022(1).— राष्ट्रपतीय और उपराष्ट्रपतीय निर्वाचन नियम, 1974 के नियम 7 के अनुसरण में, भारत निर्वाचन आयोग एतद्द्वारा-
(क) नीचे की सारणी के स्तम्भ 2 में विनिदिष्ट स्थानों में से प्रत्येक को अपनी अधिसूचना संख्या 479/2022, तारीख 15 जून, 2022 के अनुसार होने वाले राष्ट्रपतीय निर्वाचन में मतदान का स्थान नियत करता है; और

टिप्पणी :
सामान्य तौर पर, संसद सदस्यों से अपेक्षा की जाती है कि वे अपने मत नई दिल्ली में डालें और इसी तरह, संबंधित राज्य विधान सभाओं के सदस्यों से अपेक्षा की जाती है कि वे अपने मत मतदान के संबंधित स्थान पर डालें। हालांकि, विशेष परिस्थितिवश कोई अत्यावश्यकता होने की दशा में संसद सदस्य किसी भी राज्य/दिल्ली/पुडुचेरी में मतदान के किसी भी स्थान पर मतदान कर सकते हैं। इसी प्रकार, मतदान के अपने संबंधित स्थान के बजाय संसद, नई दिल्ली और किन्हीं अन्य विधान सभा में मतदान करने के इच्छु क कोई भी विधायक भी ऐसा कर सकते हैं। इसके लिए, ऐसे निर्वाचकों को विहित फार्मेट [रिटनिग अधिकारी एवं सहायक रिटनिग अधिकारियों और आयोग की वेबसाइट (www.eci.gov.in) पर भी उपलब्ध] में निर्वाचन आयोग को इस तरह आवेदन करना होगा कि उनका आवेदन आयोग में मतदान की तारीख से कम से कम 10 दिन पहले पहुंच जाए।

No. 479/2022 (1).—In pursuance of Rule 7 of the Presidential and Vice-Presidential Elections Rules, 1974, the Election Commission of India hereby-
(a) fixes each of the places specified in column (2) of the Table below to be a place of polling at the Presidential Election to be held in accordance with its notification No. 479/2022, dated 15th June, 2022; and
(b) specifies, with respect to each such place of polling, the group of electors specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table, who will be entitled to vote at that place, subject to the exceptions mentioned in the Note appended to the said Table:

NOTE:
Normally, members of Parliament are expected to cast their votes at New Delhi and members of all respective State Legislative Assemblies at the concerned place of poll. However, on account of any exigency for special circumstances, the Members of Parliament can vote in any of the places of polling in any State/Delhi/Puducherry. Similarly, any MLA desirous of voting at Parliament, New Delhi or at any other Legislative Assemblies instead of his/her concerned place of poll, can also do so. For this purpose, such electors shall have to apply to the Election Commission in the prescribed format [available with the Returning Officer and Assistant Returning Officers and also on the Commission's website (www.eci.gov.in)] so as to reach the Commission at least 10 days before the date of poll.
