राष्ट्रीय राजधानी राज्य क्षेत्र दिल्ली सरकार GOVERNMENT OF THE NATIONAL CAPITAL TERRITORY OF DELHI दिल्ली, 29 अगस्त, 2022 .—गृह मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार की दिनांक 13 जुलाई, 1959 की अधिसूचना सं. फा. 27/59-एचआईएम (i) के साथ पठित भारत के संविधान के अनुच्छेद 309 के परन्तुक द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए तथा दिनांक 7 अप्रैल 1988 की अधिसूचना सं0 फा0 4(5)/86-एमओएनयू द्वारा अधिसूचित प्रलेख अधिकारी के पद के भर्ती नियमों तथा 8 जून 1989 की अधिसूचना संख्या फा. 4/5/86-एमओएनयू/778 द्वारा अधिसूचित उत्तरवर्ती संशोधन के अधिक्रमण में, राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र दिल्ली के उपराज्यपाल एतद् द्वारा पुरातत्व विभाग, राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र दिल्ली सरकार में 'सहायक पुरातत्वविद्' के पद की भर्ती पद्धति को विनियमित करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाते हैं, अर्थात् :-
(1) इन नियमों को पुरातत्व विभाग, 'सहायक पुरातत्वविद्' के पद हेतु भर्ती नियमावली 2022 कहा जाएगा।
(2) ये दिल्ली राजपत्र में अपने प्रकाशन की तारीख से लागू होंगे। 5810 DG/2022
(1)2 DELHI GAZETTE : EXTRAORDINARY PART IV] ऐसा कोई भी व्यक्ति (क) जो किसी व्यक्ति के जीवित पति/पत्नी के होते हुए विवाह करता है या विवाह का अनुबंध करता है, या (ख) जो एक जीवित पति/पत्नी के होते हुए किसी व्यक्ति से विवाह कर चुका है या विवाह अनुबंध कर चुका है, वह उक्त पद पर नियुक्ति का पात्र नहीं होगा।
शर्त यह है कि यदि सरकार संतुष्ट है कि ऐसा विवाह ऐसे व्यक्ति एवं विवाह के अन्य पक्षकार पर लागू व्यक्तिगत कानून के अंतर्गत अनुमत है और इस बात से संतुष्ट हो जाने पर कि ऐसा करने के लिये विशेष आधार है/हैं किसी भी ऐसे उम्मीदवार को इस नियम के प्रवर्तन की छूट दे सकेगा। 5. जहां सरकार का यह मत हो कि ऐसा करना आवश्यक अथवा समीचीन है, तो आदेश द्वारा तथा कारणों को अभिलेखबद्ध करते हुए संघ लोक सेवा आयोग व्यक्तियों की किसी श्रेणी या वर्ग के संबंध में इन नियमों के उपबंधों में से किसी को भी शिथिल कर सकेंगे। इन नियमों की किसी भी बात का भारत सरकार द्वारा इस संबंध में समय-समय पर जारी किए गए आदेशों के अनुसार अनुसूचित जातियों, अनुसूचित जनजातियों, अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग, भूतपूर्व सैनिक, तथा अन्य विशेष वर्गों के व्यक्तियों के लिये उपबन्धित किये जाने के लिये आरक्षण अपेक्षित आयु सीमा में छूट और अन्य रियायतों पर कोई प्रभाव नहीं पड़ेगा।

| 7. | ि कसी मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय या संस्थान से पुरातत्व में मास्टर डिग्री अथवा पुरातत्व एवं विरासत प्रबंधन में मास्टर डिग्री अथवा भारतीय इतिहास (विषय/पेपर के रूप में प्राचीन भारतीय इतिहास या मध्यकालीन भारतीय इतिहास सहित) में मास्टर डिग्री अथवा मानव शास्त्र (विषय/पेपर के रूप में पाषाण युगीन पुरातत्व सहित) में मास्टर डिग्री अथवा भू विज्ञान (विषय/पेपर के रूप में प्रातिनूतन य ुगीन भू विज्ञान) में मास्टर डिग्री । पुरातत्व संस्थान, भारत सरकार से पुरातत्व में स्नातकोत्तर डिप्लोमा या पुरातत्व के क्षेत्र में कम से कम दो वर्ष का अनुभव। अन्यथा सुयोग्य उम्मीदवारों के मामले में कारणोें को लिखित में अभिलेखबद्ध करते हुए योग्यता डीएसएसएसबी/सक्षम प्राधिकारी के विवेक पर शिथिलनीय है। यदि चयन की किसी अवस्था में डीएसएसएसबी / सक्षम प्राधिकारी के अभिमत से अनुसूचित जाति या जनजातियों के लिए आरक्षित रिक्त पदों को भरने के लिए अपेक्षित अनुभव रखने वाले इन जातियों के उम्मीदवारों के पर्याप्त संख्या में मिलने की संभावना नहीं है, तो अनुभव संबंधी योग्यताएं डीएसएसएसबी / सक्षम प्राधिकारी के विवेक पर शिथिलनीय है। |

NOTIFICATION
Delhi, the 29th August, 2022
No. F. 2(24)/Estt./Archy/2017/1325.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India, read with Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs notification number F. 27/59-Him(i) dated the 13th July, 1959 and in supersession of the recruitment rules for the post of Documentation Officer notified vide notification No. F. 4(5)/86-Monu. dated 07th April, 1988 and subsequent amendment notified vide notification No. F. 4/5/86-Monu/778 dated 08th June, 1989, the Lieutenant Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi is pleased to make the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the post of Assistant Archaeologist in the Department of Archaeology, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi, namely:-
1. Short Title and Commencement.—(1) These rules may called the Department of Archaeology for the post of Assistant Archaeologist Recruitment Rules, 2022.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Delhi Gazette.
4 DELHI GAZETTE : EXTRAORDINARY PART IV]2. Number of Posts, its classification and level in pay matrix.—The number of the said post, its classification and level in pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in column (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules.
3. Method of recruitment, age limit, qualification etc.—The method of recruitment, age limit, qualifications and other matters relating to the said post, shall be as specified in the columns (5) to (11) of the said Schedule.
4. Disqualifications.—No persons, -
(a) Who has entered into or contracted marriage with a person having a spouse living; or (b) Who having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person, shall be eligible for appointment to the said post:
Provided that the Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any person from the operation of this rule.
5. Power to relax.—Where the Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient to do so, it may, by order, for reasons to be recorded in writing, and in consultation with the Union Public Service Commission, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or category of persons.
6. Saving.—Nothing in these rules shall affect reservations, relaxation of age limit and other concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Ex-Servicemen and other special categories of persons in accordance with orders issued by Government of India from time to time, in this regard.

| 7. | Educational and other qualification required for direct recruits. | Essential: Masters degree in Archaeology or Masters degree in Archaeology and Heritage Management or Masters degree in Indian History (with Ancient Indian History or Medieval Indian History as a subject/paper) or Masters degree in Anthropology (with stone-age Archaeology as a subject/paper) or Masters degree in Geology (with Pleistocene Geology as a subject/paper) from a recognized University or Institute. Desirable: Post-Graduate Diploma in Archaeology from Institute of Archaeology, Government of India or at least two years' experience in the field of archaeology. |
| N ote 1: Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of DSSSB/Competent Authority, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified. Note 2: The qualifications regarding experience is/are relaxable at the discretion of DSSSB/Competent Authority in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes if, at any stage of selection, the Competent Authority is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them. | ||
