फा0सं0 3(10)/2025/पुरा0/1479 .- पुरातत्व विभाग, राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र दिल्ली सरकार की दिनांक 11 जून, 2025 की अधिसूचना फा0 सं0 3(10)/2025/पुरा0/1114 जो दिनांक 11 जून, 2025 को जारी संख्या 178 द्वारा दिल्ली राजपत्र, भारतीय असाधारण, भाग- IV में प्रकाशित की गई, के प्रथम परिच्छेद में
''जबकि राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र दिल्ली सरकार, दिल्ली प्राचीन और ऐतिहासिक स्मारक तथा पुरातत्वीय स्थलों एवं अवशेषों अधिनियम, 2004 (2005 का दिल्ली अधिनियम 9) की धारा 4 के अन्तर्गत प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, विशेष अनुमति याचिका (सिविल) 12213/2019 जिसका शीर्षक 'राजीव सूरी बनाम भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण एवं अन्य' है, के मामले में भारत के माननीय सर्वोच्च न्यायालय के दिनांक 18/02/2025, 25/03/2025, 08/04/2025, 14/05/2025 और 16/05/2025 के आदेशों द्वारा दिशा-निर्देशों के अनुसरण में एतद् द्वारा अनुसूची में निर्दिष्ट शेख अली की गुमटी स्मारक तथा इसके साथ संलग्न स्थल योजना को संरक्षित स्मारक घोषित करती है।'', को 2 DELHI GAZETTE : EXTRAORDINARY PART IV] सरकार ने दिल्ली प्राचीन और ऐतिहासिक स्मारक तथा पुरातत्वीय स्थलों एवं अवशेषों अधिनियम, 2004 (2005 का दिल्ली अधिनियम 9) की धारा 4 के द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, अनुसूची में निर्दिष्ट शेख अली की गुमटी स्मारक तथा इसके साथ संलग्न स्थल योजना को संरक्षित स्मारक घोषित करने का निर्णय लिया है'' के रूप में पढ़ा जाए।

CORRIGENDUM
Delhi, the 12th August, 2025
No.F.3(10)/2025/Archy/ 1479—In the Notification of the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, Department of Archaeology, No.F.3(10)/2025/Archy/1114 dated the 11th June, 2025 published in Delhi Gazette of Indian Extraordinary, Part-IV, Issue No. 178 dated the 11th June, 2025, in first paragraph
"Whereas the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi in pursuance to the directions of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India vide Orders dated 18/02/2025, 25/03/2025, 08/04/2025, 14/05/2025 and 16/05/2025 in the matter SLP (C) 12213/2019 titled 'Rajiv Suri Vs Archaeological Survey of India and Ors' hereby declares the Gumti of Shaikh Ali monument specified in the Schedule and Site Plan annexed hereto, to be a protected monument in exercise of the powers conferred by the Section 4 of The Delhi Ancient and Historical Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 2004 (Delhi Act 9 of 2005)",
shall be read as,
"Whereas as the Gumti of Shaikh Ali monument has been subject to alteration, injury, defacement and is in
danger of falling into decay, which has led to a litigation, i.e., SLP (C) 12213/2019 titled 'Rajiv Suri Vs
Archaeological Survey of India and Ors' which is pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, and
whereas the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi has decided to declare the Gumti of Shaikh
Ali monument specified in the Schedule and Site Plan annexed hereto, to be a protected monument in exercise of
the powers conferred by the Section 4 of The Delhi Ancient and Historical Monuments and Archaeological Sites
and Remains Act, 2004 (Delhi Act 9 of 2005)".
