Ref. No.BCD/Elect-2026 /1.—सभी संबंधितों की सूचना के लिए यह अधिसूचित किया जाता है कि दिल्ली बार काउं सिल का चुनाव अधिवक्ता अधिनियम 1961 और उसके अंतर्गत निमित नियमों में निहित प्रावधानों के अनुसार 20 फरवरी, 2026, 21 फरवरी, 2026 और 22 फरवरी, 2026 को आयोजित किया जाएगा।

यह चुनाव कार्यक्रम माननीय सर्वोच्च न्यायालय के दिनांक 18 नवंबर, 2025 के आदेश के अनुसार रिट याचिका (सिविल) संख्या 1319/2023 में "एम. वरधान बनाम भारत संघ और अन्य" शीर्षक के तहत तैयार किया गया है।

नीचे दिए गए नियम 8 के अनुसार नामांकन पत्र दिल्ली बार काउं सिल के कार्यालय, 2/6, सिरी फोर्ट इंस्टीट्यूशनल एरिया, खेल गांव मार्ग, नई दिल्ली-110049 में 17 जनवरी, 2026 से 24 जनवरी, 2026 के बीच (कार्य दिवसों में शाम 4:00 बजे तक) पहुंच जाने चाहिए।

नियम 8

उम्मीदवारों के नाम कै से प्रस्तावित किए जाएं

बार काउं सिल के सदस्य के रूप में चुने जाने वाले प्रत्येक उम्मीदवार का प्रस्ताव एक मतदाता द्वारा किया जाएगा और दूसरे मतदाता द्वारा उसका समर्थन किया जाएगा। नामांकन पत्र सचिव को व्यक्तिगत रूप से या किसी प्रतिनिधि के माध्यम से दिया जाएगा या पंजीकृ त डाक द्वारा भेजा जाएगा ताकि वह सचिव, बार काउं सिल ऑफ दिल्ली, 2/6, सिरी फोर्ट इंस्टीट्यूशनल एरिया, खेल गांव मार्ग, नई दिल्ली-110049 तक नियम 6 के अंतर्गत अधिसूचना में निदिष्ट तिथि से पहले या उस तिथि तक पहुंच जाए।

टिप्पणी:

i) नामांकन पत्र 5,000/- रुपये (के वल पाँच हजार रुपये) की कीमत पर बिक्री के लिए उपलब्ध होंगे। प्रत्येक उम्मीदवार को अधिकतम 4 (चार) नामांकन पत्र जारी किए जाएंगे।

ii) प्रत्येक नामांकन पत्र के साथ 1,25,000/- रुपये (एक लाख पच्चीस हजार रुपये मात्र) का अप्रतिदेय शुल्क संलग्न होगा। iii) नामांकन शुल्क के वल डिमांड ड्राफ्ट/बैंकर्स चेक (साधारण चेक नहीं) के माध्यम से स्वीकार किया जाएगा, जो "बार काउं सिल ऑफ दिल्ली इलेक्शन अकाउं ट" के पक्ष में जारी किया गया हो और दिल्ली में देय हो।

Rule 8

Candidates how to be proposed.

Every candidate for election as a member of the Bar Council shall be proposed by one voter, and seconded by another voter. The nomination paper shall be delivered to the Secretary, either personally or through an agent or send by registered post so as to reach the Secretary, Bar Council of Delhi, 2/6, Siri Fort Institutional Area, Khel Gaon Marg, New Delhi-110049, on or before the date specified in the notification under Rule 6.

NOTE:

i) Nomination paper shall be available for Sale for a sum of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only).

Maximum 4 (four) nomination papers will be issued per candidate.

ii) Every nomination paper shall be accompanied by a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1,25,000/- (Rupees One Lac Twenty-Five Thousand Only).

iii) The nomination fee shall be accepted only through Demand Draft/Bankers Cheque (Not ordinary cheque) drawn in favour of "BAR COUNCIL OF DELHI ELECTION ACCOUNT", payable at Delhi.

I also confirm that I suffer from no disqualification for being a member of Bar Council of Delhi and also being a voter for Bar Council of Delhi Elections to be held in February, 2026, as provided for in Chapter-I of Bar Council of India Rules (for Qualification / Disqualification and produce for election and code of conduct for elections of S.B.C / B.C.I.) 2023 issued vide Bar Council of India Notification No. F. No. BCI:D:3429/2023 dated 23.06.2023.

Further, any concealment shall attract appropriate disciplinary and criminal action, besides the cancellation of my candidature by the Election Committee and also the removal of my name from the rolls of Bar Council of Delhi.
