फा.सं.12(2)/W&M/प्रवततन/2023/10061-69.—जबकि दिल्ली विधिक माप विज्ञान (प्रवर्तन) संशोधन नियम, 2025 का प्रारूप, विधिक माप विज्ञान अधिनियम 2009 की धारा 2 के खंड (क्यू) के साथ धारा 53 की उपधारा (4) के अंतर्गत अपेक्षित रूप से, इस सरकार की अधिसूचना संख्या एफ.सं.12(2)/डब्ल्यू एंड एम/प्रवर्तन/2023/9310 दिनांक 13.10.2025 के माध्यम से दिल्ली राजपत्र में 15 अक्टूबर 2025 को प्रकाशित किया गया था, जिसमें इससे प्रभावित होने वाले संभावित व्यक्तियों से, दिल्ली राजपत्र में उक्त अधिसूचना के प्रकाशन की तिथि से 30 दिनों के भीतर सुझाव/आपत्तियां आमंत्रित की गई थीं।
और जबकि उक्त मसौदा 15 अक्टूबर 2025 को जनता के लिए उपलब्ध कराया गया था ।
और उक्त मसौदा नियमों के संबंध में प्राप्त सुझावों/आपत्तियों पर विधिवत विचार किया गया है ।
अतः अब, विधिक माप विज्ञान अधिनियम, 2009 की धारा 2 के खंड (क्यू) के साथ पठित धारा 53 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र दिल्ली के उपराज्यपाल, कें द्र सरकार के परामर्श से, निम्नलिखित नियम बनाते हैं, अर्थात्:-

(i) इन नियमों को दिल्ली विधिक माप विज्ञान (प्रवर्तन) संशोधन नियम, 2026 कहा जाएगा।
(ii) ये दिल्ली राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तिथि से प्रभावी होंगे।
2. अनुसूची XI में संशोधन:-
दिल्ली विधिक माप विज्ञान (प्रवर्तन) नियम, 2011 में, अनुसूची-XI को निम्नानुसार प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा:

NOTIFICATION
Delhi, the 27th January, 2026
F. No. 12(2)/W&M/Enforcement/2023/10061-69.—Whereas the draft of the Delhi Legal Metrology (Enforcement) Amendment Rules, 2025, was published as required under sub-section (4) of section 53 read with clause (q) of section 2 of the Legal Metrology Act 2009 in the Delhi Gazette on the 15th October 2025 vide this Government's Notification No. F.No.12(2)/W&M/Enforcement/2023/ 9310 dated 13.10.2025 inviting suggestions/ objections from the persons likely to be affected thereby, within 30 days from the date of the publication of the said notification in the Delhi Gazette.
And whereas, the said draft was made available to the public on the 15th October 2025.
And whereas, the suggestions/objections received with regard to the said draft rules have been duly considered.
Now therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 53 read with clause (q) of section 2 of the Legal Metrology Act 2009, the Lt. Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, in consultation with the Central Government, is pleased to make the following rules, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement:-
(i) These rules may be called the DELHI LEGAL METROLOGY (ENFORCEMENT) AMENDMENT RULES, 2026.
(ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Delhi Gazette.
