फ. सं. 36(146)/जनगणना/मंडलायुक्त/2025/969.—भारत सरकार गृह मंत्रालय की अधिसूचना संख्या 2/1/60 —जुडल-2 दिनांक 20 अप्रैल, 1960 के साथ पठित जनगणना (संशोधन) नियम 1990 के नियम 8 के उपनियम (iक) के तहत, उपराज्यपाल, राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र दिल्ली, भारत सरकार, गृह मंत्रालय, (भारत के महारजिस्ट्रार का कार्यालय) नई दिल्ली द्वारा प्रकाशित अधिसूचना दिनांक 22 जनवरी, 2026 को सहर्ष पुनः प्रकाशित करते हैं :-
का.आ. 353(अ) .—कें द्रीय सरकार, जनगणना अधिनियम, 1948 (1948 का 37) की धारा 8 की उपधारा (1) के द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और भारत के राजपत्र, असाधारण, भाग 2, खंड 3 उपखंड (ii) तारीख 9 जनवरी, 2020 में प्रकाशित भारत सरकार के गृह मंत्रालय (भारत के महारजिस्ट्रार का कार्यालय) की अधिसूचना संख्यांक का. आ. 120(अ) तारीख 7 जनवरी, 2020 के अधिक्रमण में, उन बातों के सिवाय अधिक्रांत करते हुए, जिन्हें ऐसे अधिक्रमण से पहले किया गया है या करने का लोप किया गया है, यह अनुदेश देती है कि वे सभी जनगणना अधिकारी जिसके लिए उन्हें नियुक्त किया गया है, अपनी नियुक्ति से संबंधित स्थानीय क्षेत्रों की सीमाओं के भीतर भारत की 1029 DG/2026
(1)2 DELHI GAZETTE : EXTRAORDINARY PART IV] जनगणना 2027 के संबंध में मकान सूचीकरण तथा मकानों की गणना अनुसूचियों के माध्यम से जानकारी एकत्र करने के लिए नीचे प्रगणित मदों के संबंध में सभी व्यक्तियों में इस प्रकार के प्र श्नपूछे, अर्थातः-
1. भवन नंबर (नगर या स्थानीय प्राधिकरण अथवा जनगणना नंबर)
2. जनगणना मकान नंबर
3. जनगणना मकान के फर्श में प्रयुक्त प्रमुख सामग्री
4. जनगणना मकान के दीवार में प्रयुक्त प्रमुख सामग्री
5. जनगणना मकान के छत में प्रयुक्त प्रमुख सामग्री
6. जनगणना मकान के उपयोग
7. जनगणना मकान की हालत
8. परिवार क्रमांक
9. परिवार में सामान्यतः रहने वाले व्यक्तियों की कु ल संख्या
10. परिवार के मुखिया का नाम
11. परिवार के मुखिया का लिंग
12. क्या परिवार का मुखिया अनुसूचित जाति / अनुसूचित जनजाति / अन्य से संबंधित
13. मकान के स्वामित्व की स्थिति
14. परिवार के पास रहने के लिए उपलब्ध कमरों की संख्या
15. परिवार में रहने वाले विवाहित दंपत्तियों की संख्या
16. पेयजल का मुख्यस्रोत
17. पेयजल स्रोत की उपलब्धता
18. प्रकाश का मुख्यस्रोत

NOTIFICATION
Delhi, the 11th February, 2026
F. No. 36 (146)/Census/Div-Comm/2025/ 969.—In pursuance of the provision contained in sub-rule (ia) of Rule 8 of Census (Amendment) Rules, 1990read with the Govt. of India, Ministry of Home Affairs' Notification No. 2/1/60-Judl.Il dated the 20 April, 1960, the Lieutenant Governor of National Capital Territory of Delhi in pleased to republish the following notification of Govt. of India, Ministry of Home Affairs (Office of the Registrar General India), New Delhi dated 22nd January, 2026.
S.O. 353(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 8 of the Census Act, 1948 (37 of 1948), and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Home Affairs (Office of the Registrar General, India) number S.O. 120(E), dated the 7th January,2020 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 9th January, 2020, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government hereby instructs that all the Census Officers may, within the limits of the local areas for which they have been respectively appointed, ask all such questions from all persons on the items enumerated below for collecting information through the houselisting and housing census schedule in connection with the Census of India 2027 namely:-
1. Building number (Municipal or local authority or census number).
2. Census house number.
3. Predominant material of floor of the census house.
4. Predominant material of wall of the census house.
5. Predominant material of roof of the census house.
6. Ascertain use of census house.
7. Condition of the census house.
8. Household number.
9. Total number of persons normally residing in the household.
10. Name of the head of the household.
11. Sex of the head of the household.
12. Whether the head of the household belongs to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Other.
