૪. વાંધા /રજુઆત કરવાનીતારીખ પસાર થઈ ગયા પછી મળેલા વાંધા/ રજુઆત અંગે કેઈપણ પ્રકારની વિચારણા કરવામાં આવશે નહીં અને આ રીતે મુદત વિત્યા પછી મળેલ રજુઆત/ વાંધાઓને પ્રવરતાછેયા આખરીકરવાનેસમ વિચારણામાં લેવામાં આવશે

૫. પ્રસ્તુતે કામચલાઉ યાદી_સંબંધકર્તા અધિકારીઓને ધ્યાને લાવવા નિયામકશ્રી, હિસાબ અને તિજોરી, અમદાવાદને વિનંતી કરવામાં આવે છે. સંબંધિત અધિકારી રજા પર હૈય, ફરજ મેકુફી હેઠળ હોય, પ્રતિનિયુક્તિ ઉપર હૈયે કે અન્ય કેઈ કારણસર અન્યત્ર ફરજ બજાવતા હેય તે તેમને તાત્કાલિક સમયસર જાણ કરવા અને પ્રવરતા બાઁદી મળ્યા અંગેની પહોંચ અચૂક મેળવી લેવા વિનંતી કરવામાં આવે છે,

The examinations of certificate of first and second class Proficiency under Gujarat Boiler Rules - 1966 and those of certificate of first and second class Competency under Gujarat Boiler Attendants ' Rules - 1966 scheduled to be held from 12th February - 2001 onwards were earlier postponed due to earthquake in the State . The said examinations will be now held at L.D. College ofEngineering, Ahmedabad- 380 015 from 6th August - 2001 onwards .

The Government of Gujarat hereby makes the following amendment to its Notification No.GN- 3-97/OMB/ 1197-844- Kh dated 1-4-1997 relating to the Scheme of issue of State Government Loans .

(i)The following Subhead may be inserted after the existing Para 4 of the General Notification. " Issue of State Government Loan on Pre- announced Coupon Rate Basis" .

(ii)After the existing Paragraph No.15 the following subhead and Paragraph thereunder may be inserted and subsequent paragraphs renumbered.

"Issue of State Government Loan through Auction" .

16 ( i) The coupon of the Stock is decided in an Auction conducted by Reserve Bank of India in the manner, hereinafter as provided by the Specific Notifications issued from time to time. The Stock carries the same coupon tillmaturity.

( ii) The form of application in respect of issue of Stock through auction is provided in Annexure III .

( iii) The yield per cent per annum, expressed upto and rounded off to two decimal points should be clearly stated in the application .

(iv) An applicant may submit more than one bid at different rates of yield through separate applications for each bid. The aggregate amount of bids submitted by a person should not exceed the aggregate amount of Government Stock offered for sale .

(v) On the basis of the bids received, the RBI will determine the maximum rate of yield at which offers of purchase of Government Stock will be accepted at the auction . The maximum rate of yield will be the coupon rate per cent per annum on the stock sold at the auction .

(vi) Successful bids offered at the maximum rate of yield as determined by Reserve Bank of India will be accepted at par. Other bids tendered at lower than the maximum rate of yield determined by Reserve Bank of India will be accepted at rates as quoted in the bid. Bids quoted at rates higher than the maximum rate of yield determined by Reserve Bank of India will be rejected. Illustrations will be provided in the specific notification.

(vii) The Reserve Bank of India will have full discretion to accept or reject any or all bids either wholly or partially, without assigning any reason.

Government of Gujarat hereby notifies the sale of Gujarat State Government Stock (securities) of 10 year tenure for an aggregate amount of Rs.190 crore (Nominal) . The sale will be subject to the terms and conditions spelt out in this notification (called specific Notification) as also the terms and conditions specified in the General Notification of Government of Gujarat, General Notification NoGN - 3-97- OMB - 1197-844- Kh dated 1.4.1997 as amended from time to time.

Object of the Loan

1. (i)Theproceeds of the loan will be utilized for financing capital expenditure in connectionwith the development programme of the Government of Gujarat.

(ii)Consent of Central Government has been obtained to the floatation of this loan as required by Article 293 (3 ) of the Constitution of India.

Method of Issue

2. Government Stock will be sold through the Reserve Bank of India, Fort, Mumbai-4000 001 by auction in the manner as prescribed in paragraph 16 of the General Notification. No.GN- 3-97/OMB -1197-844 -Kh dated 1st April , 1997 as amended from time to time and at a coupon rate to be determined by the Reserve Bank of India at the auction .

Place and Date of Auction

3. The auction will be conducted by the Reserve Bank of India , at its Mumbai Office , Fort, Mumbai on July 20,2001 . The application form duly filled in with the bids should be submitted to the aforesaid office on July 20, 2001 before the close of banking hours .

Method of Payment

4. Successful bidders will make payments on July 23 , 2001 before close of banking hours by means of a- bankers' cheque/pay order, demand draft payable at Reserve Bank of India, Mumbai/Ahmedabad or a cheque drawn on their account with Reserve Bank of India, Mumbai (Fort)/Reserve Bank of India, Ahmedabad.

Tenure

5. 2001 . The Stock will be of ten year tenure . The tenure of the Stock will commence on July 23,

Date of Repayment

6. The loanwill be repaid at par on July 23 , 2011 .

Rate of Interest

7. The maximum rate of yield will be the coupon rate per cent per annum on the Stock sold at the auction . The interest will be paid every half year on January 23 and July 23 .

Result of Auction -

8. The result of the auction shall be displayed by the Reserve Bank of India at its Mumbai Office, Fort, Mumbai on July 20,2001 . The payment' by successful bidders will be on July 23, 2001 .

૩. આ કામચલાઉ પ્રવરતા યાદીમાં સમ વિષ્ટ કરવામાં આવેલા કેોઈપણ અઅધિકારીને તેમની પ્રવરતા અંગે કેઈપણ પ્રકારને વાંધે હૈય અથવા કેઈ હકીકત દેષ જણાને હૈયે તે તે અંગેના ધિકૃત દસ્તાવેજો સાથે, આ પ્રવરતા યાદી પ્રસિધ્ધ થયાની તારીખથી એક માસમાં તેમની રજુઆત હિસાબી અને તિજોરી નિયામકશ્રીની કચેરી મારફતે નાણા વિભાગને મેકલી આપવાના રહેશે.

1 ( i ) The proceeds of the loan will be utilised for financing expenditure in cannection with the earth quake relief. (ii) The consent of Central Government has been obtained to the flotation of this loan as required by Article 293 (3 ) of the Constitution of India .

2.- The loan offered for subscription is 9.45 per cent Gujarat State Development Loan , 2011 .

Date of Issue :

3. Application and subscription for the loan will be received on 10th October , 2001 . Accordingly, the Date of issue of the loan will be 10th October , 2001.

૩. લોન માટેની અરજી અને તે માટેની ભરણાની રકમ તા. ૧૦ મી ઓક્ટોબર, ૨૦૦૧ ના રોજ સ્વીકારવામાં આવશે. અને તદ્દઅનુસાર લોન બહાર પાડવાની તારીખ ૧૦ મી ઓક્ટોબર , ૨૦૦૧ રહેશે.

પરત ચૂકવણીની તારીખઃ

૪. આ લોન સમાન દરે ૧૦ મી ઓક્ટોબર , ૨૦૧૧ ના રોજ પરત ચૂકવવામાં આવશે.

NO : DIP / 102001 / 1079 / GH : The Government of Gujarat has to record with profound regret the sad demise of Shri B.K. Nehru , Former Governor of Gujarat on Wednesday, the 31st October , 2001 at Kasauli , Himachal Pradesh .

Shri B. K. Nehru was Governor of Gujarat from 26th April , 1984 to 25th February , 1986. Son of Shri Brij Lal and Rameshwari Nehru , Shri Braj Kumar Nehru , was born in Allahabad , U. P. on September 4, 1909. He was educated at the University of Allahabad, the London School of Economics , Balliol College, Oxford , and the Inner Temple , London getting degrees in the Natural Sciences , Politics and the Law .

GUJARAT GOVERNMENT GAZETTE . EX.. 1-11-2001 [ PART 1 Shri B.K. Nehru joined the Indian Civil Service in 1934 and till 1939 heid various governmental appointments in the province of Punjab. In that year, his services were placed at the disposal of the Government of India . After acting as Under Secretary in the Department of Education , Health and Lands , as Officer on Special Duty in the Reserve Bank of India and in the office of the Accountant General , Bombay, he joined the Ministry of Finance where he held several appointments in succession for many years . In 1957 he was appointed as Secretary of the Department of Economic Affairs .

Between 1949 and 1954 Shri Nehru worked as Executive Director ' in the world Bank and Economic Minister at the Indian Embassy in Washington . In 1958 , hewas appointed as Commissioner General for Economic Affairs to handle India's external financial relations . In 1961 , he became Ambassador to U.S.A. and continued till 1968. He was appointed as Governor of the States of Assam and Nagaland in 1968 and subsequently in 1972 of all the North- Eastern States of India . In 1973 be became High Commissioner for India in London which post he held up to 1977 .

Shri Nehru has represented India at a number of International Conferences and Organisations including Reparation Conference- 1945 . Commonwealth Finance Minister's Conference , U.N. General Assembly 1949-1952 and 1960 , Food and Agriculture Organisation Conference 1949-50 , Sterling Balance Conference 1949-50 and Bandung Conference 1955. Later he was deputed to enquire into Australian Federal Finance . Between 1951-53 he was appointed as a member of the U.N. Advisory Committee on Administration and Budgetary Questions . In 1955 he worked as Advisor to the Sudan Government and has since 1961 been a member of United Nations Investments Committee and became its Chairman in 1977 .

Shri Nehru received honorary doctorates from the Missouri ValleyCollege, Mississippi and Jacksonville College, Florida . He is also an Honorary Fellow of the London School of Economics . he also received an honorary doctorate of literature from the Punjab University , Chandigrah .

Shri Nehru has a number of publications to his credit including Speaking of India , Australian Federal Finance . He also held the office of the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir.

શ્રી બી.કે.નહેરુ , ગુજરાતના રાજયપાલ તરીકે તારીખ ર ૬ મી એપ્રિલ , ૧૯૮૪ થી ૨૫મી ફેબ્રુઆરી, ૧૯૮૬ સુધી હતા .

શ્રી બ્રિજલાલ અને રામેશ્વરી નહેરુના પુત્ર શ્રી બ્રજકુમાર નહેરુનો જન્મ ઉત્તર પ્રદેશના અલ્લાહાબાદ શહેરમાં સપ્ટેમ્બર , ૪, ૧૯૦૯ના રોજ થયો હતો અને તેઓએ યુનિવર્સિટી ઓફ અલ્લાહાબાદ, ધી લંડન સ્કૂલ ઓફ ઈકોનોમિકસ, બેલ્લીઓલ કોલેજ , ઓક્સફર્ડ અને ધી ઈનર ટેમ્પલ , લંડન ખાતે અભ્યાસ કરી નૈસર્ગિક વિજ્ઞાન, રાજકારણ અને કાયદાની ડીગ્રીઓ પ્રાપ્ત કરી હતી.

શ્રી બી.કે.નહેરુ, ૧૯૩૪માં ભારતીય સનદી સેવાઓમાં જોડાયા હતા અને ૧૯૩૯ સુધી પંજાબ પ્રાન્તમાં જુદા જુદા સરકારી હોદ્દાઓ ઉપર ફરજ બજાવી હતી. આ વર્ષે તેમની સેવાઓ ભારત સરકારને હવાલે મુકવામાં આવી હતી. શિક્ષણ , આરોગ્ય અને જમીન વિભાગના ઉપસચિવ તરીકેની કામગીરી, રિઝર્વ બેંક ઓફ ઈન્ડિયા અને એકાઉન્ટન્ટ જનરલ , મુંબઈની કચેરીના ખાસ ફરજ ઉપરના અધિકારી તરીકેની ફરજો બજાવ્યા પછી તેઓ નાણા મંત્રાલયમાં જોડાયા હતા અને ઘણાં વર્ષો સુધી જુદા જુદા હોદ્દાઓ ધારણ કર્યા હતા. ૧૯૫૭ માં તેઓ આર્થિક બાબતો અંગેના વિભાગના સચિવ તરીકે નિયુક્ત થયા હતા.

૧૯૪૯ અને ૧૯૫૪ ના વર્ષો દરમિયાન શ્રી નહેરુએ વિશ્વ બેન્કના કાર્યવાહક નિયામક તરીકે અને વોશિંગ્ટન ખાતેની ભારતીય એલચી કચેરીના આર્થિક વિભાગના મંત્રી તરીકે સેવાઓ આપી હતી . ભારતના વિદેશો સાથેના આર્થિક સબંધોના સંચાલન માટે ૧૯૫૮ ના વર્ષે તેઓની નિયુકિત આર્થિક બાબતોના કમિશ્રર

જનરલ તરીકે કરવામાં આવી હતી ૧૯૬૧માં તેઓ યુ.એસ.એ.ખાતેના ભારતીય એલચી તરીકે નિયુક્ત થયા હતા અને ૧૯૬૮ સુધી તેઓએ આ હોદ્દા પર ચાલુ રહ્યા હતા . આ વર્ષે તેઓ આસામ અને નાગાલેન્ડના રાજયપાલ તરીકે ૧૯૬૮માં નિયુક્ત થયા હતા અને ૧૯૭૨માં ઉત્તર-પૂર્વના બધાં રાજયોના રાજયપાલ તરીકે તેઓ નિયુક્તિ પામ્યા હતા. ૧૯૭૩માં તેઓએ બ્રિટન ખાતેના ભારતીય હાઈકમિશ્નરનું પદગ્રહણ કર્યું હતું અને ૧૯૭૭ના વર્ષ સુધી આ પદ ધારણ કર્યું હતું.

૧૯૪૫માં યોજાયેલી રિપેરેશન કોન્ફરન્સ, રાષ્ટ્ર સમુહના દેશોના આર્થિક બાબતોના મંત્રીશ્રીઓની પરિષદ , ૧૯૪૯ અને પર સુધી અને ૧૯૬૦ માં વિશ્વ - સમુહ સંસ્થાની સામાન્ય સભા, ૧૯૪૯-૫૦માં ફુઠ અને એગ્રીકલ્ચર ઓર્ગેનાઈઝેશન , ૧૯૪૯-૫૦ માં સ્ટલિંગ બેલેન્સ કોન્ફરન્સ અને ૧૯૫૫માં યોજાયેલી બાંડુંગ પરિષદ સહિત શ્રી નહેરુએ સંખ્યાબંધ આંતર રાષ્ટ્રીય પરિષદો અને સંસ્થાઓમાં ભારતના પ્રતિનિધિ તરીકેની સેવાઓ બજાવી છે. ત્યાર પછી ઓસ્ટ્રેલીયન ફેડરલ ફાઈનાન્સની તપાસ માટે નિર્યુક્ત થયા હતા. ૧૯૫૧-૫૩ના વર્ષો દરમિયાન વહીવટ અને અંદાજપત્રીય બાબતો માટેની વિશ્વ સંસ્થાની સલાહકાર સમિતિના સભ્ય તરીકે નિયુક્ત થયા હતા. ૧૯૫૫માં તેઓએ સુદાન સરકારના સલાહકાર તરીકે કામ કર્યુ હંતુ અને ૧૯૬૧ થી તેઓ વિશ્વ સંસ્થાની મૂડી રોકાણ સમિતિના સભ્ય તરીકે રહ્યા છે અને ૧૯૭૭માં તેના અધ્યક્ષ રહ્યા હતા .

મીસૂરી વેલી કોલેજ, મિસિસિપિ અને જેકશન વિલે કોલેજ, ફલોરીડાએ શ્રી નહેરુને માનદ ડૉક્ટરેટની પદવીથી નવાજયા છે. તેઓ લંડન સ્કૂલ ઓફ ઈકોનોમિક્સના માનદ ફેલો પણ છે. પંજાબ યુનિવર્સિટી, ચંદીગઢધ્વારા પણ તેઓને સાહિત્યમાં માનદ ડૉક્ટરેટની પદવી એનાયત કરવામાં આવી છે.

સ્પીકીંગ ઓફ ઈન્ડીયા , ઓસ્ટ્રેલીયન ફેડરલ ફાઈનાન્સ સહિત શ્રી નહેરુએ અનેક ગ્રંથો લખ્યા છે . તેઓશ્રી જમ્મુ અને કાશ્મિર રાજયના રાજયપાલ પદે રહી ચૂક્યા છે.

શ્રી બી.કે.નહેરુના કરુણ અવસાનથી રાષ્ટ્રને ન પૂરી શકાય તેવી ખોટ પડી છે.

નોંધઃ- ( ૩)ઉપર જાહેર કરેલા મુસ્લીમોના કોઈપણ તહેવારે જાહેર કરેલા દિવસે આવતા ન હોય તો તે તહેવાર જે દિવસે ખરેખર ઉજવાય તે દિવસે સરકારના મુસ્લીમ કર્મચારીઓને તેમણે પસંદગી કરેલી રજા જાહેર કરેલી રજાના બદલે તે દિવસે મરજીયાત રજા તરીકે આપી શકાશે .

ગુજરાત સરકાર ગુજરાત રાજયમાં આવેલી બેન્કો,ગુજરાત રાજયની પગારઅને હિસાબી કચેરી, તિજોરી તથા પેટા તિજોરીઓ માટે સોમવાર તારીખ ૧લી એપ્રિલ , ૨૦૦૨/૧૧ -ચિત્ર, ૧૯૨૪ અને સોમવાર તારીખ ૩૦ મી સપ્ટેમ્બર , ૨૦૦૨/ ૮-આશ્વિન , ૧૯૨૪ આ દિવસોએ તેઓ તેમના વાર્ષિક અને અર્ધવાર્ષિક હિસાબો બંધ કરી શકે તે સારુ જાહેર રજાના દિવસો તરીકે જાહેર કરેલ છે.
