GUJARAT PANCHAYATS ACT, 1993 .
No. KP/27 of 2004/PRN -2001 / 3169 -J. - The following draft of a notification which it is proposed to be issed under Sub -section ( 1 ) of Section 274, read with sub - section (3 ) of Section 92 of the Gujarat Panchayats Act , 1993 ( Guj . 18 of 1993 ) , is published as required by sub - section (5) of the said section 274 for the informa- tion of all persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby givien that the said draft will be taken into consideration by the Government of Gujarat on or after the expiry of the period of thirty days from the date ofpublication of this notification in the Official Gazette .
2. Any objection or suggestion which may be received by the Principal Secretary to the Government of Gujarat Panchayats , Rural Housing and Rural Development Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar from any person with respect to the said draft on or before the expiry of the aforesaid period will be considered by the Government .

No. KP/27 of 2004 / PRN -2001 /3169- J. -In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section ( 1 ) of Section 274, read with sub - section(3 ) of Section 92 of Gujarat Panchayats Act , 1993 (Guj 18 of 1993 ) , the Government of Gujarat hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Gujarat Village Panchayats . Social Justice Committee (Constitution and Functions ) Rules , 1995 namely : -

2. In the Gujarat Village Panchayats Social Justice Committee (Constitution and Functions) Rules . 1995 in rules , in sub - rule ( 1 ) the bracket , panctuation mark and words " ( Loan, subsidy) " shall be deleted
