NOTIFICATION

THE GUJARAT TOWN PLANNING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT ACT, 1976.
No. GH/V/208 of 2025/UHUHD/MSM/e-file/18/2025/0142/L : WHEREAS, the State Government in Urban Development And Urban Housing Department by Notification No. KV-02 of 2025-UDUHD/COC/e-file/18/2024/ 6138/P dated 01.01.2025 constituted the Municipal Corporation of the city of Navsari comprising the larger urban area as specified in the Urban Development And Urban Housing Department Notification No. KV-01 of 2025-UDUHD/ COC/e-file/18/ 2024/6138/P dated 01.01.2025 under the provision of Gujarat Provincial Municipal Corporations Act, 1949 (Bom.LIX of 1949);
266-2 GUJARAT GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, EX., 23-06-2025 [ PART IV-B AND WHEREAS, considering the constitution of Municipal Corporation of the city of Navsari by the Urban Development and Urban Housing Department Notification No. KV-01 of 2025-UDUHD/COC/e-file/18/2024/6138/P dated 01.01.2025, the State Government thought it fit to reconstitutes the said Authority;NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (4) of Section-22 of the Act, 1976 the Government of Gujarat hereby reconstitute the authority consisting of following members, namely:-

| 2. | Four Members of the local authority | To be appointed by the State Government- Member |
| 3. | Municipal Commissioner, Navsari Municipal Corporation | Ex-Officio Member |
| 4. | District Development Officer, Navsari | Ex-Officio Member |
| 5. | Regional Commissioner of the Municipality, Surat | Ex-Officio Member |
| 6. | Joint Secretary, UD & UHD (Municipal Corporation Branch) | Ex-Officio Member |
| 7. | President of District Panchayat, Navsari | Ex-Officio Member |
| 8. | Chief Town Planner or his representative not below the rank of Additional Chief Town Planner | Ex-Officio Member |
| 9. | Chief Engineer, Navsari Municipal Corporation | Ex-Officio Member |
| 10. | Deputy Municipal Commissioner, Navsari Municipal Corporation | Member Secretary and Chief Executive Authority |
