NOTIFICATION

THE GUJARAT TOWN PLANNING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT ACT, 1976.
No.GH/V/210 of 2025/UHUHD/MSM/e-file/18/2025/0144/L: WHEREAS, the State Government in Urban Development And Urban Housing Department by Notification No. KV-14 of 2025-UDUHD/COC/e-file/18/2024/ 6139/P dated 01.01.2025 constituted the Municipal Corporation of the city of Anand comprising the larger urban area as specified in the Urban Development And Urban Housing Department Notification No. KV-13 of 2025-UDUHD/ COC/e-file/18/ 2024/6139/P dated 01.01.2025 under the provision of Gujarat Provincial Municipal Corporations Act, 1949 (Bom.LIX of 1949);
268-2 GUJARAT GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, EX., 23-06-2025 [ PART IV-B AND WHEREAS, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2A) of section 22 of the said Act, the Government of Gujarat by Notification No.GH/V/15 of 2017/DVP-322015-2604(1)-L, dated 23.01.2017 excluded the area mentioned in this notification from the urban development area of the said Authority;AND WHEREAS, the Government of Gujarat is of opinion that it is necessary in the public interest that the objective of proper development or redevelopment of the areas within the jurisdiction of the villages specified in column (4) of the SCHEDULE appended hereto will be best served by including it within the urban development area of Anand- Vallabhvidhyanagar-Karamsad Urban Development Authority;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1), (2) and (4) of section 22 of the said Act the Government of Gujarat hereby:-
1. declares the areas as specified in column 4 of the said SCHEDULE to be an urban development area;
2. include and amalgamate the said urban development areas in the urban development area of Anand- Vallabhvidhyanagar-Karamsad Urban Development Authority, under sub-section (2A) of Section-22 of the said Act;
3. reconstitutes the authority for the said urban development area to be called "Anand-Vallabhvidhyanagar- Karamsad Urban Development Authority" which shall consist of the following members, namely:-

| 8. | Chief Town Planner or his representative not below the rank of Additional Chief Town Planner | Ex-Officio Member |
