URBAN DEVELOPMENT AND URBAN HOUSING DEPARTMENT
NOTIFICATION
Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar, 25th June, 2025
THE GUJARAT TOWN PLANNING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT ACT, 1976.
No. GH/V/214 OF 2025/UDUHD/MSM/e-file/18/2025/0144/L : WHEREAS, the Anand-Vallabhvidhyanagar- Karamsad Urban Development Authority which was constituted on dated 28.08.2012 (hereinafter referred to as "the said Authority") prepared and published a Draft Development Plan (hereinafter referred to as "the said Development Plan") in respect of the lands included within its limit under the provisions of Section 13(1) of the Gujarat Town Planning and Urban Development Act, 1976 (President's Act No. 27 of 1976) (hereinafter referred to as "the said Act");
272-2 GUJARAT GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, EX., 26-06-2025 [ PART IV-B AND WHEREAS, the said Authority submitted the said Development Plan under sub section (1) of section 16 of the said Act to the Government of Gujarat for sanction on dated 06.11.2020; AND WHEREAS, the State Government in Urban Development And Urban Housing Department by Notification No. KV-14 of 2025-UDUHD/COC/e-file/18/2024/6139/P dated 01.01.2025 constituted the Municipal Corporation of thecity of Anand under the provision of Gujarat Provincial Municipal Corporations Act, 1949 (Bom. LIX of 1949);
AND WHEREAS, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2A) of section 22 of the said Act, the Government of Gujarat by Notification No. GH/V/210 OF 2025/UHUHD/MSM/e-file/18/2025/0144/L dated 23.06.2025 included the area as specified in this notification in the urban development area of the said Authority;
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (ii) of clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 17 of the said Act 1976, the Government of Gujarat hereby;
Return the said Draft Development Plan to the said Authority with direction to prepare, publish and submit a fresh Draft Development Plan of whole area of the urban development area after following the prescribed procedure from section 9 and onwards and submit it to the State Government under section 16 of said Act.
