NOTIFICATION
No. 508/GJ/2025(A):- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of Rule 23 and sub-rule (l)(c) of Rule 27 of the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960 and in pursuance of the provisions of clause (a) of Section 24 of the Representation of People Act, 1950, the Election Commission of India, in Supersession of its earlier Notification No. 508/GJ/2024(A) dated 20.03.2024, hereby designates the officers mentioned in column (2) against each of the districts mentioned in column (1) of the table below in the Gujarat State to be the Appellate Officer for the area of jurisdiction shown against them in column (3) to whom an appeal shall lie, from any decision, under rule 20, rule 21 or rule 21 A of the Registration of Electors Rules and Section 22, Section 23 of the Representation of the People Act, 1950, of Electoral Registration Officer of each of the Assembly Constituencies comprised within the district.
