URBAN DEVELOPMENT AND URBAN HOUSING DEPARTMENT

NOTIFICATION

Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar, 23rd December, 2025

THE GUJARAT TOWN PLANNING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT ACT, 1976.

NO.GH/V/402 of 2025/TPS-142021-1924-L : WHEREAS under Government notification, Urban Development & Urban Housing Department No. GH/V/113 of 2022/ TPS-142021-1924-L dated 01.09.2022 and Corrigendum Notification No. GH/V/101 of 2023/ TPS-142021-1924-L dated 03.06.2023, the Government of Gujarat in exercise of the powers conferred by section 65 of the Gujarat Town Planning and Urban Development Act, 1976 (President's Act No.27 of 1976) sanctioned the Preliminary Town Planning Scheme No. 51 (Dabholi) of Surat (hereinafter referred to as the said Act and the said Scheme respectively);

AND WHEREAS, the Town Planning Officer, Town Planning Unit-2, Surat has send the proposal for variation in the said Preliminary Scheme for correcting the error;

AND WHEREAS, the Government of Gujarat is satisfied that the variation under section 70 of the said Act is required in the said scheme;

AND WHEREAS, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 70(2) of the Gujarat Town Planning and Urban Development Act, 1976, the Government of Gujarat published the notification No. GH/V/344 of 2025/TPS-142021- 1924-L, dated 20.09.2025, in the Gujarat Government Gazette Ext. Part. IV-B dated 20.09.2025 on Page No. 488-1 to488-2 for inviting suggestion or objection, if any, with respect to the proposed variation to the Principal Secretary, Urban Development and Urban Housing Department, Sachivalaya Gandhinagar, through the Collector, District Surat and endorse a copy thereof to the Municipal Commissioner, Surat Municipal Corporation, in writing, within a period of one month from the date of publication of this notification in the official gazette; IV-B Ex.-579 579-1 579-2 GUJARAT GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, EX., 23-12-2025 [ PART IV-B AND WHEREAS, the Government of Gujarat has not received any suggestion and objection; NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by the clause (b) of sub-section (6) of Section 70 of the said Act, the Government of Gujarat hereby:- (a) Sanction the said variation to be made in the Preliminary Town Planning Scheme No. 51 (Dabholi), as set out in Schedule appended hereto and;

(b) Specify that the variation so set out shall come into force from the date of this notification.

SCHEDULE

Variation in the Preliminary Town Planning Scheme No. 51 (Dabholi) sanctioned vide Government notification, Urban Development & Urban Housing Department No. GH/V/113 of 2022/ TPS-142021-1924-L dated 01.09.2022 and Corrigendum Notification No. GH/V/101 of 2023/ TPS-142021-1924-L dated 03.06.2023.
