GUJARAT PROVINCIAL MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS ACT, 1949.

No.KV-414 of 2025-UDUHD/MRT/e-file/18/2025/7729/P Section:- WHEREAS, the Government of Gujarat appointed District Collector Kutch to be the Administrator of the Municipal Corporation of the City of Gandhidhamvide the Government Notification, Urban Development and Urban Housing Department No. KV - 05 of 2025 UDUHD/COC/e-file/18/2024/6445/P Section, dated the 01st January, 2025, for the period of one year, Which has commenced from the 01st January, 2025, or till the councillors are elected in the first election of the said Municipal Corporation, whichever is earlier. 181-1 I-A Ex.-¹⁸¹ 181-2 GUJARAT GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, EX., 31-12-2025 [ PART I-A AND WHEREAS the term of District Collector Kutch as the Administrator of the Municipal Corporation of the City of Gandhidham is scheduled to be completed on 31.12.2025. NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraphs 22 and 22B in Part IV of Appendix IV under section 493 of the Gujarat Provincial Municipal Corporations Act, 1949 (Bom. LIX of 1949), the Government of Gujarat hereby extends the tenure of the District Collector of Kutch as the Administrator of the Municipal Corporation of the City of Gandhidham. The District Collector of Kutch shall hold the office of the Administrator for the Three months commencing from the 01st January, 2026, or till the councillors are elected in the first election of the said Municipal Corporation, whichever is earlier.
