No.GU/2025/13/AMR-102020-AM-1310-CHH:- In exercise of the powers conferred under the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 and rule 4 of the Atomic Mineral Concession Rules, 2016, the State Government vide its notification dated 25.09.2020, notified following area around Ambadungar- Sadiwasan-Nakal area in Chhota 172-2 GUJARAT GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, EX., 31-12-2025 [ PART IV-A

Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) vide its letter dated 01.03.2024 nominated M/s Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (GMDC) Ltd. as the prospective lessee for grant of mining lease for mining of minerals of REE, thorium and other associated elements over an area of 190 Ha. in Ambadungar area, Chhota-Udepur Dist. The latitudinal and longitudinal data of the corner points of the said area are as follows:

Considering the above mentioned facts, since the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) vide its letter dated 01.03.2024 nominated M/s Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (GMDC) Ltd. as the prospective lessee for grant of mining lease for mining of minerals of REE, thorium and other associated elements over an area of 190 Ha., which falls in the area notified in favour of Atomic Minerals Directorate for carrying out prospecting operations vide notification dated 25.09.2020, the state Government hereby de-notifies the part of notified area.
