GUJARAT MINOR MINERAL CONCESSION RULES, 2017.

No. GHU/2025/02/GMR-102024-MM-24-CHH1: Whereas the proposal vide letter No. CGM/Lease/Auction/CUD/ GNT/Proposal/2024-25/3888, dated 06/11/2024 received from the office of the Commissioner, Geology and Mining, Gandhinagar, the State Government hereby notifies the following Granite mineral bearing area of Gungavada Village of Chhotaudepur Taluka of Chhotaudepur district, under sub-rule (1) of rule 4 of Gujarat Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 2017.

IV-B Ex.-594 594-1 594-2 GUJARAT GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, EX., 31-12-2025 [ PART IV-B 2. The key parameters/ matters, along with the terms and conditions and other modalities of the e-auction process (Model Tender Document) has been approved by the Government of Gujarat vide letter dated 30/10/2017. 3. Following pre-requisites, in order to conduct auction for grant of quarry leases, have been completed for each of the mineral block:

       (i)    Proposed quarry lease area has been explored and evidence of mineral resources has been established in
              accordance with parameters prescribed in Schedule I of GMMCR, 2017, as amended.
       (ii)   Quarry  lease  area  has  been  identified  and  demarcated  using  differential  global  positioning  system  and
              topographic and geological maps have been prepared using total station.
       (iii)  Quarry lease area has been in Government land and revenue opinion has obtained.
       (iv)   Quarry lease area has been identified in Scheduled Area, and as per rule 4 (2) (g) of GMMCR, 2017, the
              prior approval of the Gram Sabha has been obtained.
4.     The  block-specific  decisions  relating  to  key  parameters/  matters  with  regard  to  the  auction  of  minor  mineral
       blocks pursuant to GMMCR, 2017 (as amended) are listed below:
       (i)    There would not be any reservation with regard to specified end-use.
       (ii)   The base premium is fixed as 10%.
       (iii)  Stage-I of the Timetable of the Tender Process pertaining to completion of e-auction process is as below.

(iv) Letter of intent shall not be issued in case the bidder holds or may hold (including the area relating to the on-going auction) one or more quarry leases in respect of a particular mineral covering a total area of more than the prescribed level as per rule 14 of GMMCR-2017.

5. Successful bidder shall obtain and submit all necessary clearances/approvals before the commencement of mining operations.
