No. GTH/2025/19/FCSCAD/SCM/e-file/5/2025/1130/D/P.F.1: In compliance with the judgment dated 21.05.2025 passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No. 9982 of 2024 (arising out of SLP (C) No. 25612/2023:
Ganeshkumar Rajeswarrao Selukar & Ors. vs. Mahendra Bhaskar Limaye & Ors., the Government of Gujarat hereby extends the term of Non- Judicial Member of State Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission and President of District Consumer Dispute Redressal Commissions as mention below:

is hereby extended until regular appointment is made to the post of Non-Judicial Member or President under the new/revised rules to be issued by the Government of India pursuant to the aforementioned judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court or up to one year from the date of their superannuation whichever is earlier, or until any other order is issued.
Further, the Hon'ble High Court, vide oral order dated 22.09.2025 passed in Special Civil Application No. 12754 of 2025 filed by Mr. Bhanushanker Ghanshyamlal Dave, has granted a final opportunity to take remedial action with regard to the extension of the term of the President and Member, in compliance with the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court.
Accordingly, the terms of Ms. Pritee Ramesh Shah and Mr. Bhanushanker Ghanshyamlal Dave are hereby extended from their respective dates of superannuation until regular appointments are made or for a period of one year from the date of their superannuation, whichever is earlier, or until further orders are issued in this regard.
