URBAN DEVELOPMENT AND URBAN HOUSING DEPARTMENT

NOTIFICATION

Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar, 16th January, 2026

THE GUJARAT TOWN PLANNING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT ACT, 1976.

No.GH/V/5 OF 2026/UDUHD/DVP/e-file/18/2025/6327/L: WHEREAS the Final Development Plan of Porbandar Area Development Authority was sanctioned under Government Notification, Urban Development and Urban Housing Department No.GH/V/72 of 2013/DVP-192006-6197-L, dated 18.04.2013 (hereinafter referred to as "the said Development Plan");

AND WHEREAS, the State Government in Urban Development and Urban Housing Department by Notification No. KV-25 of 2025-UDUHD/COC/e-file/18/2024/6142/P dated 01.01.2025 constituted the Municipal Corporation of the city of Porbandar comprising the larger urban area under the provision of Gujarat Provincial Municipal Corporations Act, 1949 (Bom. LIX of 1949); IV-B Ex.-8 8-1 8-2 GUJARAT GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, EX., 17-01-2026 [ PART IV-B AND WHEREAS, under Government Notification, Urban Development and Urban Housing Department No. GH/V/207 of 2025/UDUHD/MSM/e-file/18/2025/0140/L, dated 23.06.2025, under sub-section 4 of section 22 of the said Act, constituted the Porbandar Urban Development Authority (hereinafter referred as "the said Authority");

AND WHEREAS, the said Authority has send the proposal for variation in the said Development Plan by communication dated 24.09.2025;

AND WHEREAS, the Government of Gujarat is of the opinion that it is necessary, in the public interest, to make variation in the said Development Plan;

NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (1) of section 19 of the Gujarat Town Planning and Urban Development Act, 1976 (President's Act No. 27 of 1976), (hereinafter referred to as "the said Act") the Government of Gujarat hereby: -

1. Proposes to modify the said Development Plan by way of variation in the manner specified in the Schedule below, and;

2. Calls upon any person to submit suggestion or objection, if any, with respect to the proposed variation to the Principal Secretary to Government of Gujarat, Urban Development and Urban Housing Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar, in writing, within a period of two months from the date of the publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.

SCHEDULE

Propose variation in the Final Development Plan of the said Authority sanctioned by Government Notification, Urban Development and Urban Housing Department No. GH/V/72 of 2013/DVP-192006-6197-L, dated 18.04.2013.

The 12.0 mtr. wide road passing through the land of Moje : Porbandar earmarked as A-B shall be deleted and land thus released shall be designated under the adjacent zone under section 12(2)(d) of the said Act, as shown in the accompanying plan.
