No. Leg. 10/2018.— The following Act of the Legislature of the State of Haryana received the assent of the Governor of Haryana on the 27th March, 2018 and is hereby published for general information :-
HARYANA ACT NO. 7 OF 2018
UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES, KARNAL (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2018
AN
ACT
further to amend the University of Health Sciences, Karnal Act, 2016.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Haryana in the Sixty-ninth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
Short title.
1. This Act may be called University of Health Sciences, Karnal (Amendment) Act, 2018.
Amendment of long title of Haryana Act 27 of 2016.
2. In the long title of University of Health Sciences, Karnal Act, 2016 (hereinafter called the principal Act), for the words and sign "UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES, KARNAL", the words and sign "PANDIT DEEN DAYAL UPADHAYAYA UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES, KARNAL" shall be substituted.
3. In the preamble to the principal Act, for the words and sign "University of Health Sciences, Karnal", the words and sign "Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhayaya University of Health Sciences, Karnal" shall be substituted.

4. In the short title of the principal Act, for the words and sign "University of Health Sciences, Karnal", the words and sign "Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhayaya University of Health Sciences, Karnal" shall be substituted.

5. In clause (x) of section 2 of the principal Act, for the words and sign "University of Health Sciences, Karnal", the words and sign "Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhayaya University of Health Sciences, Karnal" shall be substituted.

6. In sub-section (1) of section 3 of the principal Act, for the words and sign "University of Health Sciences, Karnal", the words and sign "Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhayaya University of Health Sciences, Karnal" shall be substituted.

7. In clause (viii) of section 12 of the principal Act, for the words and sign "University of Health Sciences, Karnal", the words and sign "Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhayaya University of Health Sciences, Karnal" shall be substituted.
Amendment of section 12 of Haryana Act 27 of 2016.
8. In section 20 of the principal Act, for the words and sign "University of Health Sciences, Karnal", wherever occurring, the words and sign "Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhayaya University of Health Sciences, Karnal" shall be substituted.
