संख्या.18/102/2018-3क1ः- हरियाणा नगरपालिका अधिनियम, 1973 की धारा-10 की उप-धारा (5) व (7) तथा हरियाणा नगरपालिका निर्वाचन नियमावली, 1978 के नियम-70 के उप-नियम (4) के प्रावधानों के अन्तर्गत निदेषक, शहरी स्थानीय निकाय, हरियाणा तथा सम्बन्धित उपायुक्तों या उनके प्रतिनिधियों को मिलाकर बनी समिति की दिनांक 01.05.2018 को महानिदेषक, षहरी स्थानीय निकाय, हरियाणा, पंचकुला के कार्यालय में हुई बैठक में जनसंख्या की अधिकतम प्रतिषतता के आधार पर तथा ड्रा आफ लाट द्वारा यह निर्धारित किया गया कि पालिकाओं के प्रधान के पद नीचे दी गई अनुसूचि I, II व III में यथा वर्णित सामान्य वर्ग, अनुसूचित जाति, पिछडे़ वर्ग तथा महिलाओं से सम्बन्धित सदस्यों में से भरे जायेंगे। इसलिये, हरियाणा नगरपालिका अधिनियम, 1973 की धारा 10 की उप-धारा (8) द्वारा प्रदान की गई शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए तथा इस सम्बन्ध में पूर्व में जारी सभी आदेषों/ अधिसूचनाओं को निरस्त करते हुये, हरियाणा के राज्यपाल इसके द्वारा विनिर्दिष्ट करते हैं कि पालिकाओं में प्रधान के पद नीचे दी गई अनुसूचि I, I व III में यथा वर्णित विभिन्न श्रेणियों से सम्बन्धित सदस्यों में से भरे जायेंगे :-
अनुसूचि - I
03 नगर पालिकाओं के नाम जहां प्रधान का पद अनुसूचित जाति वर्ग से सम्बन्धित सदस्यों में से भरा जायेगा :-
1. कलानौर 2. बवानी खेड़ा 3. सिवानी
इनमें से निम्नलिखित नगर पालिका में प्रधान के पद महिला सदस्यों मेंे से भरे जायेंगे :-

02 नगर परिषद/पालिका के नाम जहां प्रधान का पद पिछडे़ वर्ग से सम्बन्धित सदस्यों में से भरा जायेगा :-
1. फर्रूखनगर 2. रेवाड़ी
इनमें से निम्नलिखित नगर परिषद में प्रधान के पद महिला सदस्यों मेंे से भरे जायेंगे :-

04 पालिकाओं के नाम जहां प्रधान का पद सामान्य वर्ग से सम्बन्धित सदस्यों में से भरा जायेगा :-

Notification
The 16th May, 2018
No. 18/102/2018-3C1.— Whereas, in term of Sub-section (5) and (7) of Section-10 of the Haryana Municipal Act, 1973 and sub-rule (4) of rule-70 of the Haryana Municipal Elections Rules, 1978, the committee consisting of Director, Urban Local Bodies, Haryana and Deputy Commissioners concerned or their nominees in its meeting held on 01.05.2018 in the office of Director General, Urban Local Bodies, Haryana, Panchkula determined on the basis of maximum percentage of population and through draw of lots that the office of the President of the Municipalities, shall be filled up from amongst the members belonging to General Category, Scheduled Caste, Backward Classes and Women as mentioned below in Schedule I, II & III.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (8) of Section-10 of the Haryana Municipal Act, 1973 and in supersession of all previous notifications issued in this behalf, the Governor of Haryana hereby specifies that the Office of the President in the Municipalities shall be filled up from amongst the members belonging to various categories as mentioned below in schedule I, II & III.
Schedule-I
Names of 03 municipalities where office of President shall be filled up from amongst the members belonging to Scheduled Caste category :-
1. Kalanaur 2. Bawani Khera 3. Siwani
Out of these municipalities the offices of President of the following Municipal Committee shall be filled up from the Women :-

Schedule-II
Names of 02 municipalities where office of President shall be filled up from amongst the members belonging to Backward Classes category :-
1. Farukh Nagar 2. Rewari
Out of these municipalities the offices of President of the following Municipal Council shall be filled up from the Women :-
1. Rewari
Schedule-III
Names of 12 municipalities where offices of President shall be filled up from amongst the members belonging to General category :-
1. Ateli Mandi 2. Taoru 3. Haily Mandi 4. Pataudi
5. Kharkhoda 6. Indri 7. Nilokheri 8. Kalayat
9. Narnaund 10. Beri 11. Jakhal Mandi 12. Pundri
Out of these municipalities the offices of President of the following Municipal Committees shall be filled up from the Women :-
1. Taoru 2. Kalayat 3. Jalkhal Mandi 4. Pundri
