Notification

The 20th November, 2018

No. 1771-SW(4)-2018.— In supersession of Haryana Government Notification No. 1167-SW(4)-2015 dated 27.11.2015 the Governor of Haryana is pleased to re-constitute the State Award Selection Committee for a period of three years w.e.f. 19.11.2018 (i.e. 19.11.2018 to 18.11.2021) for selection of persons for National / State Awards for the physically disabled persons in the Haryana State as under:-

1. Minister, Social Justice & Empowerment Department, Haryana Chairman

2. Additional Chief Secretary/Principal Secretary to Government Haryana, Member

Social Justice & Empowerment Department.

3. Director of Industries, Haryana Member

4. Labour Commissioner, Haryana Member

5. Director General, Health Services, Haryana Member

6. Director, Employment Department, Haryana Member

7. Director, Social Justice & Empowerment Department. Member Secretary Non-official members

The Committee may co-opt non-official members at the time of the meeting.

1. The main function of the committee will be to recommend/select disabled persons for the National/State Awards during the year

2. The term of the non-official members of the committee will be for three years.

3. The Head quarters of the committee will be at Chandigarh. (1981) HARYANA GOVT. GAZ., DEC. 11, 2018 (AGHN. 20, 1940 SAKA) [PART I 1982

4. The members of the committee will draw travelling allowance/daily allowance as under:-

(i) Non-official members of the committee shall be entitled to actual expenses and daily allowance as admissible to Haryana Government servants in accordance with instructions issued by the Haryana Government from time to time.

(ii) The travelling and daily allowance to the non-official members will be admissible on producing a certificate to the effect that no Travelling Allowance in respect of the journey or daily allowance for the period mentioned in the bill has been or will be claimed by her/him from any other sources.

(iii) Travelling Allowance for attending the meetings of the committee will be allowed to the non-official members from their permanent residence to the place of the meeting. If, however a member attends a meeting from a place other than the place of his permanent residence, T.A. bill will be allowed to him either from the place of his residence or from where he attends the meeting, whichever distance is less.

(iv) No non-official member of the committee who resides at the place where meeting of the committee is held will be entitled Travelling Allowance/Daily Allowance.

5. The entire expenditure involved will be incurred under the head "2235-Social Security & Welfare-02-Social Welfare-101-Welfare of Disabled. State Award to outstanding employer/placement officer of the disabled and most efficient Disalbed employer/self employed disabled persons-Non plan 2018-19.
