संख्या 08/04/2009-2IW.— हरियाणा नहर तथा जल निकास अधिनियम, 1974, (1974 का 29), की धारा 65 की उप-धारा (2) के साथ पठित उप-धारा (1) द्वारा प्रदा शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए तथा हरियाणा सरकार, सिंचाई तथा जल संसाधन विभाग, अधिसूचना सख्या 08/04/2009-2 आई डब्लयू , दिनाक 10 सितम्बर 2018, केे प्रति निर्देष से, हरियाणा के राज्यपाल, इसके द्वारा, हरियाणा नहर तथा जल निकास नियम, 1976, को आगे संषोधित करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाते है, अर्थात:-
1. ये नियम हरियाणा नहर तथा जल निकास (संषोधन) नियम, 2018, कहे जा सकते हैं।

टिप्पणः- जल दरें सामान्य जल दरों का 50 प्रतिषत होंगी, यदिः-

टिप्पणः-
1. बिलों के जारी करने के एक मास के भीतर भुगतान न किये जाने पर 10 प्रतिषत अतिरिक्त अधिभार प्रभारित किया जाएगा और एक मास के बाद बकाया राषि पर एक प्रतिषत की दर से अधिभार प्रभारित किया जाएगा। 2. बिल प्रति मास जारी किया जाएगा।
3. यदि, प्राकृतिक जल प्रापक राज्यों द्वारा बिल के जारी करने के छह मास के भीतर भुगतान नहीं किया जाता है तो अन्य राज्यों से संचालन तथा अनुरक्षण प्रभारों पर प्रतिवर्ष दस प्रतिषत ब्याज उद्गृहीत किया जाएगा।

Notification
The 30th November, 2018
No. 08/04/2009-2IW.—-In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (1) read with Sub-section (2) of section 65 of the Haryana Canal and Drainage Act, 1974 (29 of 1974) and with reference to the Haryana Government, Irrigation and Water Resources Department, Notification No. 08/04/2009-2IW, dated the 10th September 2018, the Governor of Haryana hereby makes following rules further to amend the Haryana Canal and Drainage Rules, 1976, namely:-
1. These rules may be called the Haryana Canal and Drainage (Amendment) Rules, 2018.
2. In the Haryana Canal and Drainage Rules, 1976, for the Schedule of Water Rates, the following Schedule shall be substituted, namely:-

Note: -
The water rates shall be charged 50% of the Normal water rate, if, -
(i) water saving devices like drip and sprinkler irrigation by the irrigator on lift outlets are used;
(ii) lift is maintained and operated by the cultivators (Jallars).

1. Ten percent surcharge shall be charged extra for not releasing the payment with in one month of raising the bills and after one month surcharge shall be charged at the rate of one percent per month on the balance amount.
2. The bill will be raised monthly. 3. Ten percent per annum interest shall be levied on operation and maintenance charges from other States, if the payment is not made within six months of raising the bill by the raw water recipient State.
