In the Haryana Panchayati Raj (Amendment) Act, 2018 (Haryana Act No. 31 of 2018), published in the Haryana Government Gazette (Extraordinary), Legislative Suppliment, Part-I, dated the 22nd October, 2018, at page 295, for the above said Act, read the following, namely:-

No. Leg.36/2018.— The following Act of the Legislature of the State of Haryana received the assent of the Governor of Haryana on the 2nd October, 2018 and is hereby published for general information:-

THE HARYANA PANCHAYATI RAJ (AMANDMENT) ACT, 2018
AN
ACT
further to amend the Haryana Panchayati Raj Act, 1994.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Haryana in the Sixty-ninth Year of the
Republic of India as follows:-
1. This Act may be called the Haryana Panchayati Raj (Amendment) Act, 2018. Short title.
2. In section 163 of the Haryana Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 (hereinafter called the principal Act), after the words "provisions of this Act", the words "and rules made thereunder" shall be inserted.
Amendment of section 163 of Haryana Act 11 of 1994.
3. Sections 164, 165 and 166 of the principal Act shall be omitted. Omission of
sections 164, 165 and 166 of Haryana Act 11 of 1994.
