Notification
The 20th March, 2019
No. SEC/4E-II/2019/328.— Whereas the State Election Commission vide its notification No. SEC/3E- II/2016/3641, dated 08.04.2016 had notified the name of Smt Suresh W/o Sh. Chand Singh under section 161 (4) of the Haryana Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 as elected Chairman, Panchayat Samiti, Lakhanmajra, District Rohtak.
2. And whereas Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer (Panchayat), Palwal vide his letter No. 1276/Panchayat, dated 14.03.2019 has informed that a meeting was held on 08.03.2019 under the Chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner, Rohtak-cum-designated authority to consider the no confidence motion against Chairman, Panchayat Samiti Lakhanmajra. Out of 13 members of the Panchayat Samiti, 9 had supported the no confidence motion. Hence, no confidence motion against the Chairman, Panchayat Samiti, Lakhanmajra has been passed and it has been requested to denotify her name accordingly.
3. In view of above, State Election Commission, Haryana hereby denotifies the name of Smt. Suresh W/o Sh. Chand Singh as Chairman, Panchayat Samiti, Lakhanmajra, District Rohtak with immediate effect.
