The 13th August, 2019
No. DGST/1843.— in accordance with the provision contained in Rule 7 in memorandum and Rule 19 in Rules and regulations (By-laws) of Haryana State Council for Science and Technology, the Governor of Haryana is pleased to notify the constitution of the Executive Committee of Haryana State Council for Science and Technology with the following members for administration and management of the affairs and finance of the State Council: - 1. Additional Chief Secretary/Principal Secretary to Govt. of Haryana, Chairman Science and Technology Department 2. Additional Chief Secretary/Principal Secretary, Member Rural Development and Panchayat Department OR representative not below the rank of Additional Secretary/Director 3. Additional Chief Secretary/Principal Secretary, Member Department of Industries OR representative not below the rank of Additional Secretary/Director 4. Additional Chief Secretary/Principal Secretary, Member Finance Department OR representative not below the rank of Additional Secretary/Director 5. Representative of Department of Science & Technology (DST), Member Govt. of India 6. Representative of Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Member Govt. of India 7. Director, HARSAC, Hisar Member 8. (i) The Executive Committee is a permanent body of the Council. The members at serial nos. 9, 10 & 11 are nominated for the calendar year 2020 in their individual capacity and the rest are ex-officio members.
(ii) The members of the Executive Committee shall draw TA/DA from their respective Departments / Organizations. The members at Sr. No. 9 to 11 may claim TA/DA from HSCST for attending meetings of Executive Committee and for any other official work of HSCST.
(iii) The Executive Committee should meet at least once in six months.
(iv) The quorum of the meeting is fixed at one-third of the total membership of Executive Committee.
(v) The head quarters of the Committee shall be at Panchkula.
