STATE ELECTION COMMISSION, HARYANA NIRVACHAN SADAN, PLOT NO. 2, SECTOR 16, PANCHKULA

No. SEC/4E-II/2019/1663.— Whereas, the Commission vide notification dated 20.11.2019 prescribed time schedule for updating existing voter list of all wards of Panchayati Raj Institutions and the draft shall be published on 06.12.2019. The final voter list shall be published on 30.12.2019.

2. Whereas, Additional Civil Judge (Sr. Div.), Gannaur under No.242, dated 19.11.2019 forwarded a copy of order dated 13.11.2019 passed in election, petition Sunil Vs. Janta Devi & others vide which the election of elected candidate of Sarpanch, Gram Panchayat Saiya Khera was declared null & void and the same was set aside. 3. Whereas, Deputy Commissioner, Sirsa vide letter No. 7907/P/election 2019, dated 22.11.19 has informed that appeal No.73 of 2017 filed against order dated 24.04.17, by the affected Sarpanch, Gram Panchayat Rangri Khera has been dismissed. Hence vacancy has been caused. It has been recommended for revision/updation of voter list of this Gram Panchayat. 4. Whereas in view of above, the State Election Commissioner, Haryana hereby directs for updating the existing voter list of all wards of Gram Panchayats Saiya Khera in District Sonipat and Rangri Khera in District Sirsa on the basis of latest Assembly electoral rolls with all supplements finally published with qualifying date 01.01.2019 as per following proqrarnrne:-

1.	The existing voter list of the Panchayati Raj Institutions shall be updated by taking into consideration, the electoral roll of Vidhan Sabha published by the Election Commission of India W.r.t. 01.01.2019 as qualifying date, finally published on 27.08.2019 with all supplements. List of new voters included/deleted in the electoral roll of Vidhan Sabha shall be prepared and will be published with existing voter list of the Panchayat Raj Institutions mentioned in Annexure "A".	05.12.2019 to 10.12.2019
2.	Preliminary publication of draft voter list for inviting claims and objections.	11.12.2019
3.	Last date for receipt of claims and objections.	17.12.2019 Upto 3.00 P.M.
4.	Last date for disposal of claims and objections by the District Electoral Officer (Panchayat).	20.12.2019
5.	Last date for filing an appeal before the District Election Officer (P) against the decision of District Electoral Officer.	24.12.2019
6.	Last date by which the appeal shall be disposed off by the Appellate Authority	28.12.2019
7.	Final publication of voters list.	30.12.2019

5. It is further directed that Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officers (P). Sonipat and Sirsa shall give wide publicity to the above programme for information of general public.

6. The directions contained in Notification No. SEC/3E-II/2019/1572-79, dated 20.11.2019 shall remain unchanged.
