No. 19/01/2019-3PH.— In supersession of Haryana Government notification No. 17/20/2003-PH-3- dated 24th January, 2011, The Governor of Haryana is pleased to reconstitute and re-cherished the "State Water and Sewerage Mission" instead of State Water & Sanitation Mission, which is as under:-

The functions of the State Water & Sewerage Mission would be as under:-
• Provide policy guidance on water & Sewerage issues;
• Convergence of Water Supply & Sewerage activities including special projects;
• Coordination with various State Government departments and other partners in relevant activities;
• To approve the State Annual Implementation Plan under Jal Jeevan Mission before clearance from Government of India.
• Monitoring and evaluation of physical and financial performance and management of the water supply & Sewerage projects;
• Integrating communication and capacity development programs for both water supply and Sewerage;
• Maintaining the accounts for Programme Fund and Support Fund and carrying out the required audits for the accounts.
The Mission shall meet at least once in a year or as per specific needs.
