The 5th March, 2020
No. KC/T-2/Meeting/SSC/2019.— In suppression of notification dated 09.09.2014 regarding constitution of State Steering Committee for Skill Development & Industrial Training Department, Haryana; the committee is hereby renamed as SSC STRIVE and re-constituted comprising of following members for establishing close interaction between Skill Development & Industrial Training Department & various industries:

The roles & responsibilities of the State Steering Committee (SSC) will be as under:-
1. To decide additional roles and responsibilities of Institute Management Committees (IMC's) of Government Industrial Training Institutes (GITIs) & Government Institute for Training of Trainers (GITOT).
2. To monitor performance of IMCs of GITIs & GITOT.
3. To encourage industries to actively participate and contribute for the development of vocational training.
4. To coordinate with State Government, Directorate General of Training (DGT), National Council of Vocational Education & Training (NCVET) and Industry.
5. Guiding the SPIU and approve the reports of State Government before submission to the NSC/DGT.
6. Assessing and recommending the Institute Development Plan (IDP)/Institute Strategic Plan (ISP) regarding up-gradation of ITIs under Up gradation of 1396 Government ITIs through PPP/Skills Strengthening for Industrial Value Enhancement/Model ITI Gurugram Projects.
7. To review the expenditure incurred by the ITIs covered under Projects funded by DGT, Gol/World Bank.
8. Meet quarterly or more frequently, as required, to take stock of the project and facilitate project implementation.
