Notification
The 19th May, 2020
No. DMC-SPO/2020/3014.— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 60(a) of The Disaster Management Act, 2005 (53 of 2005), the Governor of Haryana hereby authorizes all the Station House Officers (SHOs) of the Police Stations concerned (not below the rank of Sub-Inspectors) in the State of Haryana as 'Authorized Officers' to file complaint(s) relating to offences committed under sections 51 to 54 and 57-58 (CHAPTER X) of The Disaster Management Act, 2005, during the period of lockdown imposed to contain the COVID-19 pandemic, before the jurisdictional courts of law.
The above orders shall be applicable from the date of publication of this notification.
