Notification
The 1st October, 2020
No. 1929-Agri.II(5)-2020/6077.— In supersession of the Notification issued vide No. 1426-Agri.II(5)-2020/ 4462, dated 04.08.2020, the Governor of Haryana is pleased to accord administrative approval for implementation of Central Sector Scheme "National Beekeeping & Honey Mission (NBHM)" in the Haryana state from the year 2020-21 to achieve the goal of "Sweet Revolution" as per provisions under the operational guidelines of NBHM, Govt. of India that has at National level General Council (GC), Project approval & Monitoring Committee (PA&MC) and Project Appraisal Committee (PAC) shall be the committee with National Bee Board (NBB) under Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare (DAC&FW), Govt. of India as National Level Nodal Agency. The Governor of Haryana is further pleased to accord approval of the following mechanisms.
1. State level Steering Committee (SLSC):For effective implementation, evaluation and monitoring of the scheme, State Level Steering Committee (SLSC) has been constituted with the following composition and Chairman may co-opt additional Member(s) as per requirement as a special invitee.

II. Functions of SLSC:
1. Approval of proposal/ Annual Action Plan and Project Based Activities.
2. Synergizing the efforts in mobilizing the farmers.
3. Offering various services relating to Beekeeping.
4. Periodically review the developmental and functioning including constraints faced by Beekeepers/FPOs.
2. Implementing Agency: Integrated Beekeeping Development Centre (IBDC), Ramnagar, District Kurukshetra, Haryana is nominated as Implementing Agency of this scheme for Haryana State.
II. Function of Implanting Agency:
1. To prepare Annual Action Plan of Central Sector Scheme "National Beekeeping & Honey Mission" (NBHM).
2. To achieve mission strategy of "National Beekeeping & Honey Mission" (NBHM) :
(a) Mini Mission-I: Under this mission, thrust will give on production & productivity improvements of various crops through promotion/development/extension/adoption of scientific beekeeping by the farmers/beekeepers/other stakeholders.
(b) Mini Mission-II: This mission will concentrate on post-harvest management of bee keeping/ bee hive products including collection, processing, storage, marketing, value addition, etc. with a thrust to develop requisite infrastructural facilities for these activities.
(c) Mini Mission-III: This mission will concentrate on Research &Technology generation for different Regions/States/Agro-Climatic and Socio-Economic conditions.
3. State Implementing Agency shall work with the NBHM Mission Objectives on the pattern of assistance as per the operational guidelines and decided by State Govt. time to time.
