संख्या 18/171/2020-3क1.- हरियाणा नगर निगम अधिनियम, 1994 (1994 का अधिनियम 16) की धारा-4 की उप-धारा (2), धारा-11 की उप-धारा (1), (2), (3), (4), (7) व (8) व हरियाणा नगर निगम वार्ड परिसीमन नियमावली, 1977 के नियम-7 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, हरियाणा सरकार, शहरी स्थानीय निकाय विभाग की अधिसूचना संख्या 18/171/2020-3क1, दिनांक 31 अगस्त, 2020 के अनुसरण में तथा हरियाणा नगर निगम वार्ड परिसीमन नियमावली, 1994 के नियम-10 के उपबन्धों के अधीन हरियाणा के राज्यपाल, इसके द्वारा सदस्यों के प्रयोजन के लिए 20 वार्डों में से नगर निगम, अम्बाला की सीटें निम्नलिखित रूप से आबंटित करते हैं :-
20 वार्डों में से 05 वार्ड क्रम संख्या 01, 02, 07, 11 व 14 अनुसूचित जाति के लिये आरक्षित होंगे, जिनमें से वार्ड संख्या 11 व 14 अनुसूचित जाति की महिला के लिये आरक्षित होगा। वार्ड संख्या 04 व 18 पिछड़े वर्ग के लिये आरक्षित होेंगे तथा वार्ड संख्या 06, 09, 12, 17 व 20 महिलाओं के लिये आरक्षित होंगे।

No. 18/171/2020-3C1.- In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub–section (2) of Section-4, Sub–section (1), (2), (3), (4), (7) and (8) of Section-11 of the Haryana Municipal Corporation Act, 1994 (Act 16 of 1994) and Rule-7 of the Haryana Municipal Corporation Delimitation of Ward Rules, 1994, in continuation of the Haryana Government, Urban Local Bodies Department Notification No. 18/171/2020-3C1, dated 31 August, 2020 and in pursuance of the provisions of Rule-10 of the Haryana Municipal Corporation Delimitation of Ward Rules, 1994, the Governor of Haryana hereby allots the seats of Municipal Corporation, Ambala amongst 20 wards for the purpose of election of members in the said municipal Corporation as follows :–
Out of 20 wards, 05 wards viz. ward numbers 01,02,07,11 and 14 shall be reserved for the members belonging to the Scheduled Castes, out of which ward numbers 11 and 14 shall be reserved for the members belonging to the Scheduled Castes Women, ward numbers 04 and 18 shall be reserved for members belonging to the Backward Classes and ward numbers 06, 09, 12, 17 and 20 shall be reserved for Women.
